ok one more (this was stolen out of a movie called ..bah forget, some pool movie, ill find it later, and ill change it into riddle form)
so ur at a bar, and ur drunk friend just go you in a rediculous wager...there are 2 pints and 2 shot glasses on the table, you have to finish your 2 pints, before the other guy can finish his two shots. Being the cocky person that he is, you opponent will let you finish ur first beer before e starts (yippe
)..and also to be fair, no one can touch the other persons glass in any way, and you can only use 1 hand of your own...so are your out 200$? or can you somehow win...
edit: the movie is called poolhall junkies, not a bad pool movie, i liked it

The Squirrel and the Corn
There were eight ears of corn in a hollow stump. A squirrel can carry out three ears a day. How many days does it take the squirrel to take all the ears of corn from the stump?

Originally posted by Resnick ok (btw these get worst as we go along cuz im gonna run out but anywho) a man is walking his horse when he comes up to his neighbour who has a troubled expression on his face. when asked whats wrong, he says, "my father passed away last night, and in his will he says that half of the horses go to me, a third go to my older brother, and a ninth go to my younger brother, but you see, there are 17 horses, I cant decided how to split them up...can u? DUM DUM DUM!!!!

Originally posted by jonze234 this is no typo and three is the wrong answer. hint: he can carry three EARS out, doesnt mean that all three are ears of corn

Originally posted by jonze234 just round up everything...you get 9, your brother gets 6, and your other brother gets 2.

Originally posted by Fundamental No no, three is right. Firstly the squirrel must pull off both of it's ears at the start of Day 1. Then the corn movement is as follows... Day 1 - 3 ears of corn Day 2 - 3 ears of corn Day 3 - 2 ears of corn ...which leaves 1 third of a day on Day 3 for squirrel to have his ears reattached at the vets.
A farmer had 4 haystacks in one field and twice as many in each of his other two fields. He put the haystacks from all three fields together. How many haystacks did he now have?
