after a few weeks, half the class wasnt bothering to show, and half of what did show left during the lectures....

and we didnt get a form to fill out on his lecturing skills, like with most....

Hey gumble, you're from Adelaide right?

You wouldn't be talking about Work & Org at UniSA? We could understand the lecturer's accent, but we couldn't understand what he was actually talking about.

Imagine the most arrogant lefty, labour union loving, government and capitalist hating Socialist, and you're maybe half way to imagining this guy.

What a fckwit.

(The attendence was about what you described too, only about half the people (of around 500) turned up after the second week)

this was enviro chem

and our class had about 30 to begin with, so 7 or so left at the end is noticeable

Re: Uni exams just around the corner...

argh
i always end up getting myself in a stupid mood when exams are on because i really have trouble studying for them. this semester is pretty important though so i should be in the books instead of on here! my first one is on monday week and then my last 2 are 2 days after. so my timetable is pretty good, ive just to get off my arse and study!
good luck everyone

Yeah I realised that attending the lectures were important for that subject After a lot of cramming a couple of days before the exam, I think I did pretty well in it. To my surprise most of the stuff that I was worried about didn't appear on the exam

K, two exams so far here's the deal:

Tuesday:

Went to bed at 3.30am. Got up at 5am. Studied. Had exam at 9.15am. Finished exam at 12.30pm. Had first (and only) meal of the day (Hungry Jacks). Worked for 7 hours from 4.00pm to 11pm.

(Total, 1.5 hours sleep in 36 hours, 1 "meal" in 24 hours.)

Friday:

Went to bed at 12am, woke up at 4am. Studied. Went to bed for two hours without sleeping (too much coffee :-/). Studied. Had first (and only) meal of the day (two bananas and an Up and Go). Had exam at 1.45pm. Finished exam at 5.00pm. Worked from 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

(Total, 4 hours sleep in 36 hours. 1 "meal" in 24 hours.)

Fuck you exams.

(If I should die at some point over the next week, please bomb the Commercial Law buildings @ RMIT in my honour... :-/)

i have a genetics exam on tuesday....and im scared.. at least its multiple choice.

Posted by G`Dave on Jun-13-2004 13:41:

I think Renegade takes the cake on that one.. I can't compete with that.

Given that I could get away with not doing any more study and still managing a pass I can't see myself doing anything resembeling that.

Posted by gilmista on Jun-13-2004 19:13:

exams who?

Posted by G`Dave on Jun-14-2004 07:32:

Well that one was interesting.... about 2 hours of crapping on really. It's like VCE all over again.

Basically a rough idea of what was spoken about in lectures and a dash of common sence is all that's required for this subject.. but it shits me to tears none the less.

Posted by gumble on Jun-18-2004 17:20:

chem study, sucks.

i hated it in high school, i hated it in college, i hated it in 1st year. I hate it in 2nd year.... when will i learn?

Posted by stamper on Jun-18-2004 21:35:

First one today, Commercial Law II. Got up at 4 to learn, fingers crossed.

Posted by Antistatic on Jun-18-2004 23:13:
