as I've never been to BoaRedux before....

There's $10.00 underground parking under Boa-Redux.

Yes, Sunday night! hahaha

Looks like the ideal trip back to Boa for me. Should be very interesting to hear trance on that sound system. I hope the crowd doesn't vary *too* much with the genre because I was blown away by the vibe at Danny!

Also hope he throws down a little psy-trance no matter how many TAs hate it.

Edit: I went to see Edgar V on his headline night & Viva last year, so anyone who isn't aware of him can rest assured that you're in for a quality opening set as well, you won't just be standing around waiting for J00F to make his appearance (at least you shouldn't be).

Edgar definitely blew the roof off Viva the last time he played in Toronto! Everyone is definitely in for a treat this night. To add to the madness, Sean Miller & Matt Coleridge will be going back to back in the lounge!!

judging by j00f's recent set on ASOT, much psy-trance is abound

i would really love to hear his remix of mahadeva live. that and APs remix of god is a dj. either would make my night.

Posted by itikia on Jul-30-2004 22:41:

Yes, the show is definitely Sunday night!

Boa definetly does not have lasers... Just to clarify for everyone who hasn't been to Boa or a club like Boa such as Stereo in Montral for instance.

Boa was meant to stand out from the afterhours scene that we have in Toronto. They didn't want to make it a place where you go and do your "substances" and trip out from a laser show or some guy doing a light show. This kind of ties in with the fact it's 21+ (not for this even, mind you, it's 19+), they're trying to appeal to a more mature crowd that are about the music and the DJ... Not some sketch afterhours venue with cracked out underagers who want to score drugs or get hammered! lol

Since this place is about the music and DJ, they put a great deal of money into their sound system, the Alpha Dynacord system. To reinforce things too, the staff is REALLY friendly, not something that you'd expect in most of the clubs in TO.

Even though Lucid and the Docks have the same sound system, Boa is a clubbing experience, not just some regular night

Anyways, I hope this helps...

^^^^^^^ thanks dude, it does and im glad to hear that boa appeals to a mature crowd that goes there for the music and not to trip out like at some other club that i wont mention *cough guvernment cough*.
