OMFG!!!!!!!!!
i had da best f*ckin time ever. i showed up at 10 somethin and got myself a stop on da lef of da dj booth (like i said i would:happy2
and just chilled until like 1245 when my friend called me and told me he was finally there. so i had to go outside n give him his ticket and then ran back inside cause tiesto was about to come on in a couple minutes. got damn did that palce get packed and HOT!!!! i was dying in there. im sure a bunch of u saw me i was wearing a white cream shirt with innercity, gatecrasher, energy.... on da back of it. so many people came up to me and said something about it like they really liked it which was cool. TIESTO RIPPED IT UP IN THERE, i cant believe da turntable fuked up in da beginning. he got so mad and threw da record, o well. i must have drank like 5 bottles of water n like 3 red bulls just to keep my energy up so i could jump around like a monkey
i met a couple cool people including PEANUTZ143 or somethin like that i dunno. around 4 i got my cd signed n people got jealous but i was happy as hell. and i dunno if anybody saw it but towards the end he signed n threw out 2 records.... well this girl next to me caught da first one and i ALMOST caught the second one but my hands were so slippery that it just slipped
but its all good cause i had da best time plus as tiesto was leaving i got to shake his hand
which was awesome

Group pic still not in the topic?
Where you at, Lee?
i felt like sardines in a can.
it was 120 degrees inside and all these people squeezed together all sweated up.
NASTY i tell ya.
Only good thing was the crowd participation.
That Ti - Es - To Chant was hot. Even tiesto couldnt hold back that smile.
Wtf was johnny vicious doing inside the booth? trying to learn some skills? get a lick of tiesto's balls?

Avalon as a club is horrible especially for a huge DJ like Tiesto. I mean the place was hotter than Hell and I could hardly breathe and there was like no dancing room.
The only thing that I could say was that it being a church was the appropriate place for the Trance God.
I met some cool people, this dude let my best friend his jacket b/c he had a tank top on. That was awesome.
I finally got to this really awesome but tiny room where it was actually really cool and ventilated and everyone was dancing a having a great time and everyone had a chance to get in the middle and dance and we were all clapping and having fun. I was so heart broken when he left.
my first time at avalon and first time seeing tiesto. like many, i was thrown off by the abrupt break-ups in his set. but whatever. shiznit happens. great tracks overall! unfortunately, the venue completely detracted from the experience. too crowded, too hot, not enough places to sit down, etc. i didn't think this would be such a factor since i'm a big tiesto fan, but ultimately it was. i guess it's difficult to enjoy the music you love when your feet hurt and you can't move. i'll just have to put on Just Be in my car and get my groove on during rush hour...
wow, just got back to FL, another freaking crazy wknd in the books....Who needs to do cardio, when you can just sweat off 10 lbs at Avalon. it was my first time at Avalon, i really like the setup of the club but way too many people, are their Fire Marshalls in NYC? ..with that many people in there they could probably afford to install some Kyro guns to cool us off
besides that the music was solid. Eddie Lee threw down a sick opening set, i was very impressed, is he the resident there? the tiesto chant was out of control...of the ten or so times ive seen him, it was the longest chant. i enjoyed the set, noone gets me going like tiesto but i usually never leave the dance floor, but with that crowd it was hard to stay on the floor, non stop pushing and shoving, ended up on the railing upstairs for most of his set, which was perfect viewing but not the same as being on the floor tearing it up
anyways set ends i go sit on the couch behind the booth watching the nonstop mob of fans getting autographs, some dude lights a J next to me and 2 seconds later, me and him both get kicked out....real fucking cool....im outside waiting for my friends to come out and out walks Tiesto and his crew, walk up to him no problem and had him sign the back of my cell phone! Told him, I will be seeing him on Friday at SPACE.....shit thats in 4 days...i gotta go rest up
indy -Nice seeing you again! love those Kicks! lol
Lee - nice meeting u, -anytime you want to fly down to miami for a show-let me know
.....and to the half dozen other TAs i met behind the dj booth - hope you guys had a great time.
Support the Sound
Ryan
