Once again the mods dump an awful mess in the political forum.
Considering that the forum is described as:
"Where intellectuals meet to discuss their views and hope someone else agrees with them. Enter with caution & a dictionary."
I'm pretty confused as to why stuff like this is moved here. The general level of threads in the COR must be extremely low, if this is considered intelligent.

Couldn't have said it better myself, as I read some of the comments I simply would not even bother to post a response to them. This should have really been kept in the COR.

On Saudi Arabian apache helicopters. If the dumb bastards keep this up, saudi arabia isn't going to have a helicopter fleet.

Well, that's kinda what they want, isn't it? To destabilize the current Saudi regime.

Yes but I thought it was ironic that they're attempting to disrupt a weapons system that, if anything, would be used to kill jews heh.

Is it bad that I actually laughed-out-loud when I read this?

Alright, lets figure this out, you claim to be angry because he got beheaded in Saudi Arabia instead of Iraq. No offence, but dont you think your thinkin a little close-minded if you dont realize that war is not confined to the boundaries of some imaginary line that you draw on some map. War is an idea of over-all battle, this is their way of trying to fight back and use leverage with humane life. Does it make it right? no, does any of this make anything right? No.
Not a single person here is agreeing with the beheading like its suppose to be fine but you seem to think that because we dont cry for this guy that all of a sudden we are just as bad as the terrorist. I feel sorry for everyone person who dies in this war, and for every relative of the dead who have to live without their loved ones but I am not gonna walk down some road of pity and compassion with American's for every single innocent death on their side. If I had to shed a single tear for every innocent victim in the War, I would be crying for the rest of my life (as I am sure there are many more Iraqi's that have died innocently in comparison to the American side). Personally, I am saving all my tears for the people in Iraq, who will have to rebuild and re-make new lives within the rubble of this war's aftermath.

dont justify the actions of these terrorist as being part of war...... just admit u hate Americans and the country they belong to. I dont agree with the war at all , but beheading prisoners is something that everyone in this world should be agaist, and yes many of our soldiers did messed up things and shouldnt be tolerated but just dont justify the actions of beheading by saying this is their way as if you understand why they did that. Thats why im angry because people seem to have a justification of the actions because he was american. Boundaries? well last time i checked war is usually between 2 countries if you see it as US vs Iraq? then yes there are boundaries. If its a war agaist terriorism then your right there arnt no boundaries, but remember why justify a terrorist?
mayb your just as ignorant as u think americans are.

I dunno, the Saudi regime doesn't seem that eager to attack Israel nowadays. Looks like they got lazy and need a replacement. Hell, if the terrorists overtake the government, there won't be any american experts anyway, so the apaches won't last for long either.

Hmmm you could be on to something. Perhaps the reason why terrorism is growing in popularity is because the Arabs and the Jews haven't had their fun in the sun for quite some time. Maybe they can simulate a war like those historical societies? Resurrect the glorious Arab League or the Hagannah and re-enact the Israeli war for independance? Maybe they'll get a kick out of sacking Jerusalem again.

Hmm, perhaps this could be a permanent solution to the middle east crisis. Say we give them all paintball guns and tanks that shoot water baloons and let them have their fun...
