propaganda is the news that the govt wants you to hear. It can be facts, half-facts by omitting information, complete lack of coverage of something that might interest the population, etc etc.

replace "govt" with fat gluttonous attention seaking american and you have michael moore. it is no different! you just defend it cause you like the message. propaganda is ok when its left wing and allies itself with the arab cause!
you guys are so rediculous it makes my skin burn. so hypocrytical and contradictory.

wtf?? the arab cause? we don't need moore to defend the "arab cause".

the documentary is about George Bush and his bad management of the US of A!

hah i guess to be fair not yet, a friend has it and i should watch it tomorrow or thursday. I will comment about the movie itself when i see it. im basing my opinion of him on two other movies i saw of his. Roger and me, and The Big one. Both i thought were horrible and full of holes. I thought both were very poorly done and extremely one sided and unfair. And while truthfully i havnt seen this one yet, nobody, including michael moore himself will deny the fact that it suffers from the same problems.

If by 2 sons you mean 2 nephews, then yes you're right!

Look Joe, don't be naive. Do you think that its possible to cram thousands of pages of documentation in a 2 hour documentary? And even if it was possible, would it be something that would attract the masses and spark intrest?

What Moore does is telling people that Bush is doing bad things while backing it up with a fair number of evidence. Its the viewer's duty to research furthermore the subject if he believes that he hasn't heard enough or if he doesn't believe it.

Doesn't this apply to all documentaries?

Of course it is, since it's always true

Posted by vano on Jul-01-2004 00:15:

Btw, the movie is great, but I like "The Corporation" better.

I saw this movie the other night. I am extremely disturbed by some of the war footage, and it will probably give me bad dreams ! I am a wimp when it comes to that stuff though. Its just so sad....

I can't believe that movie is actually in theatres, you would think the president would have some control over it being released, but I thought it was brilliant. I give Moore a thumbs up once again.

The only thing I think about, it is his biased view. Then again so is the news. I would just love to hear the entire story from both sides. I am not challenging the facts, some of them amazed me, but it still was a biased view.

c tellement juste un film de propagande anti-bush...le film ne sert absolument a rien a n'apprend rien a personne
on nous montre que des images avec du monde qui pleurent...WOW ca fait de la peine c fou...
