Sorry but Naranja was DEFINITLY not played. - not at CP or Spirit. I wanted to hear it, thats how I know he didnt play it.
maAn I cant believe dat I lost my tix 2 the afterparty
u guys seemed 2 have a really great time @ Spirit..
next time I'll keep my tix in a safer place n n0t let my friend has it...she lost em b0th..

I would say that the party at Spirit was the best PvD party in recent history. He FINALLY dropped all the garbage from his playlist and played a nice hard set. The people at spirit were smart enough to keep the place nice and dark.. in short it was awesome. I think PvD's mixing was incredible.
yeah i agree. it was amazing seeing pvd at the old twilo. i 'am still trying to grasp all of this. all my reviews in later days when i rest and get my brain back from this weekend.
cheers

spirit was just sick!!! i had an amazing time, except for those fuckin fog machines that were on for like 3 hours straight and you couldnt see shit. that was da only bad thing. i got my flyer signed... finally after holdin it up for like 2 hours and i got to shake his hand at da end which was cool
Just got in right on time for PVD to come on. The nite was great, except those fucking fog machines and annoying lights by the stage. I love his set as always, although he played very similar set as CP. Closed it and took a pic with PVD with some other strangers. Have to say, 7 hours of PVD still not enough for me...

i was standing at the very back of the floor in the center the whole time, perhaps it was only in this area that at 6 ft 1 in. that the lights shined to the face. i would've enjoyed darkness too, believe me.
lol that nasty chick should have been thrown out if you ask me! fact that they did that just goes to show how cluless this club is. i was ashamed by that, hopefully pvd didn't notice? ha.. probably did.
p.s. if naranja was played, cool...whatever. my spot in the back drilled bass through my head to toe, perhaps i just couldnt make it out.

I despise roxy for their ultra-bright white lights that they shine on every chance they get. I am not saying that Spirit's lights were great, I am saying that the LACK of lights was the good thing. i know many people get off on "omfg look at the lights", but I enjoy the darkness. ps.: the only spotlight I saw was on the nasty chick with the huge fake boobs in the green swimsuit top. pps.: it's been a couple of days, but i do remember naranja too. |

are these the white t shirt pix??
JK!!!
I too was surprised with Paul's set. You would think he'd play different styles at the two different venues since the environments were completely different. The first being wet and outside(CP), the second be in a packed club (Spirit).
Call me lame, but I wanted to hear some of his oldies. The closest I got to that was when he briefly played For An Angel at CP. The highlight of my night was Nu-NRG - Connectiv. The whole next day it was in my head.
I thought the cosmic gate song was called Tomorrow, am i wrong?
Is that red haired woman I keep seeing behind him his wife?

Did I suffer permanent ear damage?
