Oasis is one of the worst bands ever in my opinion. All their songs sounds as if they come from the same album and they all sound like "Wonderwall"
I love RHCP, they're my favourite non-trance act. Not been lucky enough to see them live but they make great music. Although I didn't think Universally Speaking and Can't Stop were the best singles, in fact they were IMO the worst tracks off the album.
Oasis aren't bad either, What's The Story (Morning Glory) is a great album, but it's gotta be RHCP for me, every member is so talented at what they do, and they sound truly original

RHCP are like the best rock band out there at the moment.. Had an opportunity to see them live about a year ago and they fucking rocked.. Fleas bass playing is just fucking immense.. Just listen to RCHP - Live in Hyde Park album before you judge them in any way.. IMO oasis are just plain BORING..

Oasis must win this poll, their music is much better. RHCP did "Give it away" and no other good song.

again that comes down to your opinion that they can make such types of songs, they had a chance to be bigger than they were, and every time the personal lives of the gallagher brothers & their behaviour let them down, leaving them virtually unknown to some people still. The idea of the poll was who people thought are the better band, and the people have voted so far, even though it's close, as many people agree with me as with you.
yeah well if anyone had actually been bothered to listen their songs they would see that they do actually have massive variety. My point is that many people on this poll are voting against a band that they know very little about.
PS: Noel Gallagher is a hero, Oasis rule!!
PPS: What is your opinion on Supergrass?
1. Oasis are much more of a mainstream band than RHCP, being Brit-pop. They've also had about five or six number ones, and one of the best-selling singles ever. Go figure.
2. RHCP have much better musicians- Flea is one of the best bassists ever, and John Frusciante is a talented guitarist.
3. RHCP are a lot more original, with their indie/funk/hip-hop blend, while Oasis don't do anything original at all.
