Man, i feel all giddy. For the numbah won game everyone can just look at me avatar (Super Metroid if you dont know). IN fact i loved Metroid so much, i beat both Zero Mission and Fusion in about a day. I actually bought a Sega CD. Sonic CD was the best sonic game i've ever played. Only thing that could even compete was Sonic 3 and maybe Sonic and Knuckles. For the comp, I had to say Quake and Duke 3d were freakin awesome. I wish i could go back to my fathers computer lab, He used to teach at a college, and play those games. O man i wish being that young.

I'm sitting here at 1:37am, tired as heck but wanting to play the final level of Zelda, since I've had all my interviews this week and no more till next week, I figure I'd do nada tomorrow and sleep in for once. Addictiveness of games.

Oh my, some right flashback material in this thread. It probably started off at some mates of mine who had C64s. Played Mickey Mouse, Astrix, Joust, Barbarian and tons of other tapes I can't remember. The colour cascades at the "now loading" screens, "press play on tape" etc. are all still a fond childhood memory for me.

Later I finally nagged my dad long enough to get me a NES, and from that point I was sold. Some titles I can recall:

Super Mario Bros 3 (one of the best games ever regardless of console IMO)
Excite Bike
Little Samson (extremely absurd japanese thingy, I don't think many people ever noticed it much except for me, but it was probably one of the most psycho and out there games I've ever played on NES)
Zelda I and II
Little Nemo In Slumberland
Megaman I to IV
Double Dragon II
Gold Medal Challenge '92 (oh dear, poor controllers)

Time to hit the emulator again..
