My choice...
i like Jack Astor's...food is pretty good...and it goes down smoothly
i love there vanilla coke.
The Keg...Filet Magnon dinner still gives me a hard-on everytime i go.
meal is $22.95 but worth it
Im into greek food...especially Feta cheese so i'll suggest the best possible place to eat for Greek food
Souvlaki Hut on Lakeshore Mississauga its on ur right side if ur driving west left side if going east. I dont know its exact location but its east after u past Dominion and this plaza with McDonalds and u've gone to far if u past a Dairy Queen...its like near Jack DArling Park
i would suggest ordering from the Greek the Lamb Souvlaki Dinner its a 11 dollar meal thats worth $16 i swear this meat is candy...melts in ur mouth. :P
For me the best cakes/desserts doesnt come from a restuarant specifically...but if u want The Real Shizznick then order from La Rocca there bailey irish cream cheesecake is...is better then sex...yea i said it
Sebastiano
mmmm you guys are making me sooo hungry describing all those desserts from Movenpik... I think I gotta move downtown
as for Jack Astor's, I just tried it recently and wasn't too impressed... the burger I ordered was the greasiest thing I've ever eaten
Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing...
You guys must be nuts. You didn't mention Markham Station. It's at markham road and the 401, right off the highway. Open 24 hours and they have all day breakfast! Plus their wings and burgers are awsome. I mean how can you go wrong, espically since you can actually sit down and have access to a bathroom.
tatgirl, i'm with ya on vietnamese soup! That stuff is awesome! Their "small" soup is like XXXL soup everywhere else and i think their 'large' could easily feed 4 people! Vietnamese sour soup is the bomb. Thai coconut sour soup too mmmm...
My favorites:
chicken & noodle aka jin jin (chinese - sheppard & midland)
pho 88 (vietnamese - warden & steeles)
salad kind (thai - ryerson campus)
hopper hut (sri lankan - kennedy & ellesmere)
host (indian - hwy 7 & 404 north)
ichiban (sushi - many locations)
markham station (food ain't the best but when you're hungry at 4AM who cares! - markham & sheppard)
john anderson's (yonge & sheppard)
commisso brothers (you might not make it out alive but their veal sandwiches are to die for - jane & finch)
by the slice (pizza - don mills & york mills)
OMG-
How I could forget THE BEST WINGS IN TOWN.....
Sneaky Dee's!!!!!!!!!!
Be sure to ask for a side of hot sauce to dip them in. Way better.

I've been to Dutch Treats- At St. Clair & Vaughan. A really crazy looking place- very kitsch, but as far as ice cream goes, it's not anything great. They make killer coated & dipped waffle cones & put fruit & whip cream on top of the ice cream to 'distract' u from the ice cream quality. I'm more of a Baskin Robbins or Ben & Jerry's gal.
As long as we're talking about ice cream, Hollywood Gelato on Bayview has some of the best f*ckin' ice cream I've ever tasted. A little pricey but it's *so* worth it.
