well, those artists are kinda cheesy, easy-listened and easy to the ears which makes em good for beginners. but they lack soul in their music. maybe they'll do a nice track now and then but nothing comes close to what airwave delivers.

mate ive prob been listening to trance a hell of a lot longer than you and i still like scot project so what your saying is pretty much bollocks

Blah. It's not a bad song but it doesn't do much for me. Charlie May should have left Little Bullet alone.

I dont know how everyone is going on how much of a blatent rupoof of xpander this is, yet no one gave shi*t to White Room for "ripping off" remember by BT?

Anyway i think L-vee is capable of better. Still not a bad tune tho, although i don't think i'll be buying it.

Any word on what the b-side will be?

Maybe because they sound nothing alike.

Posted by sigmanova on Aug-10-2004 07:14:

it's so-so...nothing that stands out. though it sounds like it would make a good set filler after 3am as someone suggested.

uhhm, they only sampled the vocals, they didn't copy anything else

lol, u win the prize!!!

sampling a vocal (and only a tiny little bit at that) and making an entirely different tune to put it to, is not ripping off. and the vocal is credited as well.

Every single person in tis thread who says that this is a rip off does not know half the producer L-Vee is!

All the records this man made, breaking all boudries of trance is now some rip off producer!?!?!?! Know your stuff before you all react!

nobody said he was a "rip off producer", we all know his loads of great tracks, however it seems that in this specific track he did rip.

Alright, here it goes. This is the most blatant rip-off of "Xpander" I have ever heard. I'm sorry, Lo, but what the hell is this? You are one of the most highly-respected producers in this buisness, and you've amounted to this? I would have never expected this from you. I'm sure he has reasoning for doing this, though. He was probably really touched by the track (as have many of us), and decided to re-make it to his own standards. With that being said.. it's not that bad of a tune. I just wish it had been labeled otherwise - ie Sasha - Xpander (Lolo Remix). That would make me and the many Sasha fans out there relieved.

Signing 0ff..

Doesn't sound too much like Expander to me. Good tune though.

Perhaps L-vee will be crediting sasha?

Posted by wwu.punisher on Aug-11-2004 08:25:

This track is an Xpander clone. There's no way to argue otherwise.

It's not a bad track... but that's largely due to the fact that it is more or less a reinterpretation of one of the best tracks produced in recent years.
