Hehe I'm watching the opening ceremony, Tiesto is on now.
They just showed him..."a world famous DJ" and said he will probably create controversy.

"....and this will bring some controversy" // channel 7 commentator, talked about Tiesto

Yeah the other commentator (not Bruce) said "DJ Tiesto is keeping up a pounding rythm for them" :P

Not into Tiesto totally but it sounds pretty good!

It is pretty cool, I dont know if the music really matches the occasion, but I LIKE IT! - he is not holding back either!

I wish those guys would shutup - especially during the performance parts!

Regarding commentary in The Opening Ceremony on Channel 7.

Yes, the comentators spoke the whole time.
For example, when a new team comes out (they describe what games they're good in, how many people, if they are related to Australia at all) until the next team came in.

At the beggining, just before the competitors begin to walk out, they show you DJ Tiesto (him at the decks). He looks really pumped. Listen to the commentators.

I like when they talk about the countries teams (even if it is over tiesto) but I don't give a shit that the water was 30cm deep and only takes 3 minutes to drain. I don't think they needed to talk then.

I think the music fits the scene pretty well, something that can be enjoyed worldwide, modern, shows emotion, pumping but still doesn't take too much emphasis away from the athletes (although it does for me) as it's the Olympics after all

It's pretty much guaranteed that someone has recorded it. Today was the most user EVER online for TA!

On Digital TV you can see the Opening Ceremony without the commentating, and i saw people putting up links to streams in the massive Tiesto@Olympics thread in Music Discussion, so someone had to have recorded it.

Keep an eye out on the Music Discussion in the next couple of days and it will pop up. It will probably be on SLSK as well.

It was pretty funny when they said he was the World Championship DJ....
