prog? are you sure? I think it's more like melodic trance, isn't it a bit fast for prog? or maybe it's just me

Posted by marcooz on Oct-04-2004 14:27:

for me it's prog, maybe really it's not this kind but for me it is

[edit] or i've heard pitched CQ too many times

Producers posting here? Gotta encourage that.

Sick track. One of the best ASOT has had to offer in recent weeks, and undoubtedly one of the best productions of 2004 in my book.

Exactly my thoughts...

any news on the release? it should've happened already. i want my copy!!!

Finally heard it on GDJB last night. As it mixed in, people started mentioning how much of a choon this was. Throughout the tune, I tried to like it, I really did. I will say that it's a pretty nice tune, though per usual it doesn't, in my opinion, sound like the "omfg Enmass!!!1" that it's been hyped to be.

7.5/10

for a q-dance lover it is prog yeah or maybe even house

lovely track, quality trance from Poland... probably shows the scene's growing there

I have been testing the limits of my stereo equipment with this track, lately. Badass tune.

Posted by m0sh on Oct-11-2004 18:47:

This is not prog!
This is uplifting trance...you can listen to the bulid of the song...as a producer who is on the making of doing the same structure I can promise you for sure that this is uplifting trance...and nontheless this is really good

love this tune

Every time i hear this i think its that new Lolo tune. Something about them is very similar.

Posted by neoh on Oct-12-2004 02:14:

Thumbs up

armin played it here in Vancouver, BC, had the club going crazy.

Quality work, with this sort of sound we could only begin to imagine new original singles like this one.

Well i've listened to this quite a few times and I can't seem to get into it. It's a quality production but it's lacking that extra something. Maybe if I heard this in a club I would fall in love with it.

7/10

yea.... now that i compare... they do sound very similar. only difference i guess would be that once CQ hits the break it changes and lolo - why repeats.

I agree as well. When I first heard it I fell in love with the melody. However, after playing out over and over the last few weeks I noticed that a few changes could make this tune timeless.

IMO I think a beefier bassline would be better. The melody is extremely beauitful but I think a catchy bassline would really be MASSIVE.

I beleive they added some "extra" elements to the melody once you exit the breakdown. IMO I think they should have not tried to add these extra minor elements to the melody. Maintain the melody and progress other parts of the song. The extras werent really adding anything to the song imo. I think a PVD style remix would make this song imo very very nice.

Regardless I still love this tune.

Inspirational and creative production work.

A stronger kick would be nice and maybe an extra melody would do the trick. Your right, the melody does change a bit after the first break but it doesn't really do much for me.

For example, Distantly Viewed - Lunastice has a few nice melodies that flow in and out of eachother that make the track pure bliss. CQ has a really nice main melody and a nice riff but just not enough to grab me.

However, it's a qulity track and I look forward to hearing more from the producer(s).

Thumbs up

This track made my top list in under 3 listens. 9.7/10

Posted by jcosgrove on Oct-13-2004 06:48:

am loving this at the moment - can honestly say i'd never heard anything of this track until i got it in the post a couple of weeks ago and i'm definitely impressed, the other EnMass track is quite nice too.

re-structure

hey gang. for those of you that have suggestions on the form of the track please post in this forum. we are definetely going to use the template from CQ to do something else. if you have suggestions on phrasing please post. yeah, the version on Universal Religion 2004 is edited. it's probably for that reason. all suggestions welcome. thanks guys. she's gonna be out FRIDAY!!! finally!!! Eric

awesome track!

Posted by Dan1584 on Oct-14-2004 04:58:

When I first heard this on ASOT I thought to myself "eh this isn't that good" and after a couple of listens I have realized how beautiful this track is. It's definetly in my top tunes of 2004 but not good enough to make it into my final top 10 of 2004.

Quality music from a new producer...things are looking good for Enmass

If you would like to do a remix of this track please shoot me a PM. I have some ideas on how to improve it.

Posted by Turbotrance on Oct-14-2004 12:45:

Quality Track! Congrats Guys look forward to picking it up on vinyl

Heard Armin play it live at Amnesia in Ibiza when he was recording Universal Religion 2, went down a storm on the huge system there, the breakdown is a real Amnesia ice cannon moment

Any idea about potential remixers at this stage?

Good Luck
