what's wrong with drum and bass?
headrushmusic >>> where do you guys hold your events at?
i spin funky house, prog house, trance, drum n bass, techno. is the open tables @ wish a specific genre or can you play what you feel compelled to? i really need to start getting out and spinning back here in ohio. after i left school in virginia i haven't spun at a club in months
i miss it
ps jdat how was moda? i ended up going out with an ex from high school that night
They have had events at various locations but they are generally at Abbasso and they're starting to do stuff at Moda on a somewhat regular basis.
Sounds like you had a blast with the ex
I know I did! Headrush(Amy) was dancing like crazy
and Deviant playing dope tunes as usual and that was followed by Sammy O.
Really steady crowd and everyone was in a great mood! This party was great.
You need to come and check things out for yourself!
Just wanted to bump this up a bit to keep the Ohio TAs active. There seems to be about 4 or 5 of us in the state. We should all definitely meet up and get well fucked up sometime. Any suggestions (particularly JDat who keeps up well with the Cleveland scene)
im going to tramp tonight!
GEORGE ACOSTA @ MODA NEXT SAT NIGHT!!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!! WE SHOULD MEET UP THERE!

<-- Ohio TA here. Just got directed to this site last night.
Columbus, OH area, been here for bout 6 months.
Edit: Yeah, was on work comp with sucky connection and I was about to clock out anyway. I've dabbled in the club scene a bit. Once I find one near me I tend to stick with it until I locate a better one or relocate altogether. I've been to a couple raves in the Philly area, but only because I was with people I could trust. Back home, I stuck with Matrix in Pittsburgh - which had some bright spots, but started to get really repetitive and bland. In C-Bus, I've only caught Oakenfold at Redzone, and have been busy enough to prevent me from scoping out other places besides Fabric.
I've been hooked on the music ever since '98 when my cousin said "Hey check out gatecrasher.com" I checked it, bought a couple CD's, then eventually bought them all, then expanded to other DJ's until my trance/techno collection equalled everything else I had. My fave is Tiesto hands down. From there I like Ferry Corsten, AvB, George Acosta. Mark Norman's In Trance We Trust 009 has really grabbed my attention and I'm really digging stuff by Granddaddy DJ. I've been listening to di.fm for the past few months and I gotta say it's been worth it to sit in on the live sets they present.
I'm a Montreal TA "from" D.C. coming with my friends to Cleveland for NYE, Kenneth Thomas
Who else is going? And is there a meeting place? I'm curious about the Ohio TAs.
You all should definitely come out and see Kenneth if you like progressive trance. I saw him in Toronto and he was awesome, high energy and lots of interaction with the crowd.
I'll be working =(
I'm sick of going to Metropolis. I don't think it's the kind of club I wanna spend my NYE at. Sorry KT.
I've never been there. Is it that bad? =p Friend in my Guard company said it was pretty good.
