to the thread starter...

i bet you if tiesto took a shit in a bowl you would eat it w/ your bare hands.

fanboy.

Posted by Floorfiller on Sep-11-2004 20:10:

i agree with TTA...

and i can't believe you had the nerve to ask for a free record. if i was his ass i wouldn't give you shit. maybe if i talked to you and you were telling me how much you liked the tune and he offered it to you, but i think that's a little rude to just straight say...hey tiesto gimme vinyl...

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-11-2004 20:16:

I had the nerve to ask Hybrid for a copy of some remix that they never released and they told me they did not trust anyone, so I said fine, do you mind signing my CDs, they said sure and I went back to the dancefloor before they started.

I brought some CDs hoping that Lavelle would sign them but he came in late and had started and I did not want to bother him, so I went to the dancefloor and had some fun.

See why hound deejays, both times I ran into Sander K were just him walking around once after a set and once before a set, which are good times to run into deejays. The deejay is paid to play his or her set and why disturb it, most deejays are happy to sign stuff, if they have the time, if they don't have to be in some other country shortly. I say go buy the records and support the record label, the industry and the deejay.

If a DJ smokes out, who cares? I don't use drugs, but I am not going to point a finger or cry like a bitch. If a DJ gets laid, who cares? It is his right to get laid by the hottest girls in the club. I hope he gets ass every night he plays out. If he is married, I don't agree with it, but I am not going to say he shouldn't do that. It's his life, and he has earned a spectacular one. If he isn't married yet then there is no reason at all this should even be brought up.

Props to the guy.... Don't be such a hater.

Posted by torontotrance on Sep-11-2004 20:32:

I don't see why a deejay's personal life is really anyone's business. As long as they are not too drunk, too tired from getting booty or too trashed from drugs to effectively play their set then leave them alone. I don't see why deejay's lives are any of our business, if they want to let people in on their personal lives then so be it, if not then respect them. They don't go asking about our lives, so why should we care. So what Tiesto was looking at some girl, you are not him, you are not his fiancee, so technically you are trying to play judge. I've always said that if the drugs, alcohol or sex make the deejay perform poorly, then I got a problem because the deejay is not putting their 100% effort into it but as long as they play the set with throwing up in the booth or running off to get more coke then who cares. Only the cops care about people breaking laws and that's what they are paid to do and we all know that deejays and alcohol/drugs and sex is nothing new, so why be so shocked?

This has to be one of the times I agree with Toronto. Very well-said.

some of the people posting in here sound like 14 year old britney spears fans, can't get much lower than a dj whore especially a male one if I was a dj id take a joint and bitches over an annoying whiny kid trying to get an autograph all night

Posted by davidclarke on Sep-11-2004 23:38:

I'm always up for slating tiesto, I think hes dogshit, but to be honest if it was me in his position (getting hounded all night and getting asked for free records), i would have given you a slap. What a gimp.

Its people like you that put djs on this popstar pedestal, and then you are the first to kick off when they live the popstar life. Wise up you fool.

I just reread the entire thread, the thread starter is a ****. See I have no time or sympathy for deejay whores, who hound the fecking deejay all night. You go to a club to do what? you go to dance to the sounds of a deejay that night and if you happen to run into him or before or after and get to say hi or get a CD or vinyl signed then great. The other people that I have no time for are the ones who write down every single song, get your ass on the dancefloor and dance you posers. If I was Tiesto's manager, I'd have told you off as well, yes it is the fans who pay to see the deejay and effectively pay the manager's salary as well as the deejay's BUT deejays HATE stalkers and I tend to agree with them. Let the deejay a)play his set without begging him to play your fave tunes and b)if you happen to meet the dj then great but don't act like a victim, you were the aggressor here, you stalked the fucking guy for hrs, how pathetic and I don't read anywhere about dancing to his set. No wonder deejays get such bad reps at times, it is people like you that hate a deejay because he did not respond that well to you stalking him.

LOL so true!!

I still don't understand whats so great about an autograph in the first place

WOW! Guys... Who cares what Tiesto Does and who he does it with? Serisouly!!!

I think there is a hint of jellousy here. Here is this guy the # 1 DJ in the world... Every city he goes too everything is taken care of, airfair, travle, food, 4 star hotels, drinks. In every city he goes too he can get any girl he wants. Well he happens to likes blonds more. So he can get any HOT HOT Blond he wants with out even trying!
I am not goint to lie. If I where a tall Hot blond and Tieso hit on me and asked me back to his hotel, I would go in a second! Since I am not a tall hot blond I will leave that one in the Fantasy books

I must have not read the part about him asking for a record. In that case daveclark is right. Why would anyoone give you a free vinyl and sign it too. Who the f#ck are you!?

Secongly if getting bl@w jobs helps him play better than next time his is in Chicago I will make sure to bring all my slutty girl friends to his dressing room before the show.

sweetcandy girl, I agree if I were a girl I would be sucking his balls off too. But than again if I were a girl I would be sucking everyones balls off cuz I'd be a dirty lil whore ...

Yep, I had missed that part as well. DJs can be polite and give you a record out of their own free-will. But just because two others give away their personal property does not mean that all other DJs are obligated to.

Sept. 10, 2004 @ Dokk Cafe (Events Hall), Hungary

NOT the Sept. 11, 2004 actual night, but the night before for people who know some people who can hook you up with tickets

I'm just saying Armin did it for me, no prob, he was nice. I never liked Tiesto that much, maybe when I got into trance, but not anymore.

BTW, Tiesto signed 2 Just Be album CDs for a lottery and guess who won one? hehe, I got my copy either way

I ve been saying this for months but Armin is the most friendly DJ in the world. This guy will GIVE YOU A BLOW JOB if you ask him nicely This is why ( not becuase of the blow job ) Armin is an awesome DJ to see live. He interacts with his fans both during and after the show.

That said, I personally dont care if the DJ is friendly or not. Or if they sign my album or shake my hand . My biggest issue w/ a DJ is his set. For example, even if Tiesto took a photo with me or shook my hand or signed my album I would still be pissed at him for his sh!tty show he did here.

But than again its always nice to have someone you admire and follow give you just 3 sec. of their time to you. I can not tell you how awesome it felt to shake the hand of armin or have PVD sign my ticket. the reason is not becuase I felt important or becuase I want to scalp the signed merchandise. The reason was far more deeper and emotional. Reasons I would rather not get into detail in this thread because of its length, but reasons nonethless that all you edm fans should already understand

Exactly, this is what I'm talking about.

Rest my case.

yeah ... u really are one hell of a hypocrite ... i bet if tiesto has given u a record, his picture would of hang on the wall above your head and you would worship him like a god at least three times a day

and buy your own vinyls ... tijs would of stay without his records if everyone would of been asking him to give them some ... beggar
