OH NO more useless nonpolitical jibberish from the man with no political insight or thought to hold his ground on issues when he can't even refute the main topic of the thread

So what do you Texan's think about the environmental legacy that Dubya has left you? You don't have cancer, do you? I would actually hate to be launching personal attacks against you if you had cancer as that's not something to be taken lightly.

That offhand Herpes remark must have struck quite a nerve. Sowwwy.

As I said, what is the topic? CBS admits documents are "inconclusive" doesn't leave much room for debate.

Read my post one more time, this time s-l-o-w-l-y so that it may be more easily comprehended. I was asking about Dubya's environmental legacy, which has caused cancer rates to skyrocket. I asked if you have cancer because I was going to drop it if you did.

You're preaching to the choir, I have had two grandfathers and an uncle die from it and a friend is currently in remission.

Go start a new thread on Bush's cancer policy...We can discuss there.

Meanwhile we can discuss Rather-Gate here.

Simple enough?

Should I ask them to come clean it? You don't seem to be in the greatest standing yourself in regards to flaming on this board.

Of course I flame political ideologies and debate and post threads.
I dont copy and paste articles with no commentary.

I hope you can see the difference.

I read your thread q-u-i-c-k-l-y and it didn't take much more to figure you for a total f*cking liberal idiot. Since when do you think any president has any medical doctorate qualifications to judge an issue like that and how dare you blame him for the qualified advice he is receiving from qualified professionals. Sorry gramps died, but so did mine and they all go sometime. Get over it and give it a friggin break on the forum. If you don't like the environment, then move - like to Russia where we live in the garden of Eden comparatively speaking.

It's just sad that you don't see the irony in the whole situation.

There are definitely more pressing issues in this country and all you and your political affiliates can talk about is some memo that in reality has no bearing on anything.

It's just another ploy to divert attention from the real matters of importance.

It's amazing the lengths that people will go to justify (past) erroneous decisions that are called into question.

Instead of discussing things of actual importance in this country we are left to discuss this frivolous crap. That's pretty sad.

If I can recall Kerry's campaign was the one questioning Bush's service....They asked for it. They are the ones running a terrible campaign that causes backlashes. Kerry is the one dwelling on the past....

Plus even if he ran on the present issues there is a giant warchest the GOP can you use.....(*cough senate voting record*)

Only issue he can attack and have any gains with is the IRAQ issue but yet he hasnt hit that issue hard enough and keeps dwelling on vietnam.

I bet you anything Clinton is shooting darts at a Kerry dartboard in his room right now...for not listening to him

Time for me to jump in.. Where did Kerry question Bush's service!?! .. I guess I missed something, fill me in.. So far, Bush's friends got him into this mess themselfs by placing false ad's, which pretty much, brings the topic of " Who are you to speak, when Bush skipped going to Vietnam"?.. . As for your comments on Kerry on Vietnam, I would like you to enlighten me and show me where has he been talking about vietnam and his service LATELY.. and he's not only talking about Iraq, he's talking about Jobs, Economy, Healthecare, Environment and more.. Im pretty sure you might have seen this articles posted all over the major news network today, I wont bother to copy and paste it.. so I just take it as a run off..

Yea Kerry's Campaign questioned Bush's service.

Do you not recall when they sent a [d]congressional rep. to go out and hold a conference and call BUSH A LIAR.

He explicitly stated Bush as a liar on his service......
Bush's campaign never called Kerry a liar..........527s did.

Also the texan's for truth ad/memo-gate has held most of the media coverage which is relating to vietnam.
Its unfortunate though we can't really recieve more coverage on Kerry's plans on domestic issues because some of his recent speeches have been constructed better

LATELY? what are we playing a game here? is LATELY supposed to count?
is LATELY the indicator that defines his whole campaign? i think it is!

GOOD! about frikken time.

Posted by smokeape on Sep-16-2004 02:19:

Bush memos are as authentic as a three dollar bill and Kerry threw a chestfull of medals away that he probably never deserved in the first place. Kerry is the only one trumping on alleged heroics way back in Vietnam while keeping mum on his dismal anti-military voting record since being elected to a public office. Bush never ran on a service record and the American public didn't even care in the last election. I don't even know WTF Gore did and don't care. So if Kerry has only heroics to campaign on, then you can count him a loser. Ask for an Active Duty poll if you want to see how much he is disliked as a potential Commander-in-Chief.

Somehow I was thinking more about the CBS release records where Kerry was asked about it, and he directly said that that is for the White House to answer.. but as for Kerry blasting Bush as a Liar on his service, I heavent heard that coverage though.. so I guess I missed something.

Allright dude, chilax, and slow down a bit.. we are talking about LATELY.. Speed Mec said something about Kerry not listening to Clinton on that matter, as if Kerry keeps talking about Vietnam, and I said that Kerry has not been talking about that since then, but has started to counter-attack more, and speak about the issues! ..

GOOD! about frikken time.

Well, thank that to the one famous veterans for truth ad that spread the fake twisted controversy.

mmmmmmm I will take your word on that matter then ( because in fact Bush is a liar on that matter hehe.. ) .

And yes, the Texans for truth have been spreading the ads as of late, but that comes as the counter-attack against the Veterans for Truth, I mean, It would be pretty lame if there was no sort of counter-attack in the states the the veterans showed the ad.. it's kind of logical.

And as of Kerry, Kerry has been talking about Healthcare and Economic plans as of late..

Alright, Trancer-X, Speed, for the sake of a modest amount of dignity, could you both please cut down the personal attacks a tad?

I know there's a shitload of tension right now, and that's to be expected in the coming weeks. But calm down, regardless of who wins, I believe you'll both be living and breathing Nov. 3rd, and the many years to come.

Relax. Watch a comedy flick. Hug a tree. Go to church. Meditate. Do whatever you need to do that correlates to "counting to ten", and then come back and let's try to keep the arguments at least slightly rationale.

I know man, I'm sorry. I've been under much stress lately and I let these right wing zealots get to me.

I hugged three trees today so I'm feeling much better now! I hit up a Hickory, a White Ash and a Red Oak. I almost hugged a Sugar Maple but it had sap dripping down the side of it and I didn't want to get sticky. Tomorrow I'm going to start with either a Red Oak or a Black Walnut! Thanks for the recommendation!
