tickets will not be on ticketmaster..and more.

hey everyone,

to answer a couple of the questions posted in the last little bit..here goes:

1. Presale tickets will NOT BE on sale at Ticketmaster. After the response we got for Wintergalactic in Feb, we know this event will be sold out way in advance, by the regualr ticket outlets listed on the site. We have already sold about 50 tickets already, and are only selling a certain number in total, to allow for the event to be comfortable for each and every one of ya. You can also buy your tix online at www.tripledecks.com which has already also sold some. It is taking a couple days to get the tix to the outlets out of toronto, so please just assume they will be in the 5 listed as Presale on Wed.

2. Orkidea is Finland's top progressive DJ. He played at the last Wintergalactic and basically stole the show from Tiesto (in my opinion anywayz). Feel free to check out his latest site at http://radio.aktivist.net/ and go to dj
mix on demand.

3. The final changes have been made to the State site at www.sonicstate.net/state so check it out and see whatcha' think

4. To the like 20 people that have emailed or posted on the various boards asking about it....YES! we will be using the FAT-ASS GREEN LASER

5. There will be a private after-party, sponsored by Vestax with the DJs at an undisclosed location, for the 200 people that get invited..so look out for Sonic State family to get a CD card pass.

Thanks alot for the abso-fucking-lutely incredible support by everyone for this event so far in advance...a ROLL CALL! cmon..that rocks!

nice to finally meet tons of TA's at PVD and Tiesto. Thanks for the props on Wintergalactic.

hey guys,

we have all been talking here and we have come up with a place for all the TAs to meet at State. At the Docks where the projection booth is located, across from the entrance to get backstage, there is a bar that will probably have some sort of booth (to be determined). You guys should all meet there at like 1am and then go rock the floor. I will go there myself just to meet some of you, as I have not had the chance yet.

To help you all since Sonic State has supported TranceAddict for a while now,if you give us a banner, we will put it up there so everyone knows where to meet...cool?

Let me know if that works and we'll hook it up for all the TA's.

where was i? oh yeah... i'd be glad to help make a banner for the tranceaddict meeting spot. I'm quite artistic so hopefully that would be of help. Could use some help ... hem hem ... retepic...

it would be nice to have a nice banner for us to meet up at... so it wouldn't be done on like a discarded pizza box and the letters done in cheeze (or something to that nature )

so anyone that would like to jump aboard to help out... that would be wikkid... and no retepic... it won't have to be done in FLASH!!! hahahahaha... but yes the state site is wikkid. creative genius indeed.

thinkin along the lines of bristol board and blacklight reactive paint... which i happen to have already

its funny you should ask about the wintergalactic footage, as we have just been granted a 2 hour slot of Wintergalactic 2001 on a TV network.

The program with live footage of the insanely happy crowd and kickass dj performanaces will air in 2 weeks or so, on an unnamed TV network...hmmmm

we will post more details soon about it and can't wait to see it ourselves!

we are also in the process of making a TV commercial promoting State right now...

sure toosweet, don't have much spare time, but if you get the supplies(low on funds) then i would gladly help make the banner. We can make it at Deacon and Spaceman's place since they got lots of open floor space....sawwwweeeet

I cant wait to see that video. Long story was to why I dont have my video anymore but I had the whole Tiesto at Wintergalactic on tape. It was kickass to see so I cant wait to see what u guys at State put together from the party. PLEASE keep us posted on the news about when the video airs and what network and shit like that..

^^^^^^^^^^ Trust me it will be worth the wait,,,you don't wanna rush a fine wine from aging do you?? We will need everyday till Nov 10th to prepare for this event, and not a day will be wasted. We want to make sure this event will be a memoriable one and everything is perfect.

quick note about presale tix

hey people,

due to the SLOW mail to the states and areas surrounding toronto, the presale tix will be in all outlets this tuesday, or maybe monday...all tickets at toronto outlets will be there tomorrow afternoon.

a few earlybird tix remain at the pit, electric orange rec, tripp, below the belt, and numb...but not for long.

juat wanted to clear shit up as we have been getting emails about it
