2000, his first appearance in canada !
Just imagine Tiesto and Oakenfold mixing together @ Molson Centre.
I've been raving for 7 years and this was by far my Best Rave Ever.
I will never forget Silence 2000 played In TurboSound !

oasis 2000 was the best rave i ever went to. 1)because max graham opened for oakie 2) oakie opened for tiesto 3) tiesto played the craziest uplifting trance ever 4) i was on another planet (mentally)

I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing!!!
I was in the very back of the dance floor, on the left hand side if you walked in from the main entrance. I was giving people sitting down a little dance show, and then I just started freaking!! It was one of those times where I was able to hear silence building up, like 4 mins before it started playing! I went nuts, was jumping up and down, it was the first time I heard it at a party!
Oakie played a good set that night, but Tiesto's blew him out of the water easily, especially considering he had to come on after Oakendfold!
I love Tiesto's set in Feb. too, it was something very unique to hear from him I thought, he mixed in so many styles. I recall trance, progressive, break beats..etc. Actually I love all his sets, the one that just passed was incredible trance, and I just wish we could have gotten a recording of at least one of his sets in Montreal

i remember where i was for oasis also.......i was in the back facing the booth...right infront of the brightest light i have ever seen.......6-7 hours of that night went by so fast that i cant remember all of it......pretty wacked
I sat in the stands next to my bro watching Tiesto for most of his set. Every 2 secons we were like "oh fuck!!! U hear that, u here what he's mixin in!!!" Then at a certain point of his set my bro and I were watching him (and this is probably my favorite thing to date that I have ever seen during a set), he looked down on the crowd, no one was watching him, and he started waving his hand over everyone. My bro and I asked eachother what he was doing, then he started building up the beat and raising his hand higher and higher (with no one in crowd still watching him), then he dropped the beat and threw up his hands, at the same time everyone in the crowd threw up there hands too!! It was pure magic that's what a trance dj does, takes control of the crowd and leads them on a journey!!!

u should here my story from going to see him at Sona back in Feb, that was one cold mission to get to hear him!! Actually I think I even wrote out the story and sent it to his site or one of his fan sites, I'll have to check my pc at work to see if I have a copy.
Kewl! i'd love to hear it i've got a story too! but about Tiesto's more recent show @ sona... its proof positive that i absolutely love this guy!
it was like 2:00 and i was drivin in my car with tiesto playing on my stereo (of course) and as i'm pulling out of the circular driveway of the very last guy i picked up that night...i make the biggest fool of myself- i drive the car over this concrete block! (it divided the driveway from the road) it wouldn't have been so bad...cept this stupid ass driveway is like 15 INCHES off the actual road! and so my car was stuck. i was like- crap my cars wrecked! AND DAMMIT I BETTER NOT MISS TIESTO!!!!
i think that's how i looked. so eventually we get the car back onto the road and the car still sorta worked!!! so we all got back in-with messed up doors and everything else that was wrong with the car and we just went! i was SOOOO excited!!!! my heart was pumping like mad... and of course-i put the music back on- hehehe
we managed to get there around 3:30 -and got into the main room ~just in time~ 
it was one of those magikal nights where so much could have gone wrong but didn't. i think tiesto had something to do with it...
tiesto is always a magikal night........
i just hope we dont have to wait 6 months to hear him again,,,,,,he is getting so popular that i wont be suprised that we will see him by next feb. again
