Yea wat choobak said

Also

PSY
HARDHOUSE thats repetitive (i dont mind all the other hardhouse)

Anything thats prety lively is kool just not chillout and slow boring elektronic stuff (like psy) but trance will always be my roots

By the way, is there a name for that repetitive Hard House thats dosnt seem to go anywhere and Hard House thats actually progressive and possibly have a melody?

Polysexual plays good hardhouse sumtimes but then can go real repetitive , any ideas?

I cant listen to anything harder then gabber and i can only listen to gabber for short amounts of time. I also dont really like techno or deep house but i can listen to them. Also, I hate cheese

I cant stand any type of House or Jungle. I mostly listen Trance
(Vocal, Prog, and Hard), Goa/Psy, and Chillout.

Prog
Hardstyle
House
CURRENT Rap-Hip Hop(I believe they can be classified as EDM to)
Happy Hardcore
Vocals(sometimes its ok butI hate Tracks with male vocals, unless its a dark kinda sounding guy, other than that male vocals just sound gay)

Although I use to love Gabba, Rotterdam Hardcore back in the days, around 10 years ago - I just can't feel it anymore after 1997.
Speedcore, Killcore, Terrocore etc don't do it for me

Hardstyle, Hardhouse, and Hi-NRG (Wild FM stuff) I can not get into either, doesnt really go anywhere for me.

Disco, funky handbag house, etc - nope can't feel those ones either.

But everything else from experimental ambient to hard techno I love.

Funky House makes 4/4 worth fighting for. I seriously live for it. Plus that stuff is the roots for 9/10's of EDM anyway, you at least gotta respect it yo.

Posted by TwoPlow on Oct-08-2004 04:19:

Filtered/Disco/Vocal House, Happy Hardcore, and lately, most trance. I'm getting really tired of supersaws and strings.

Posted by NuDarkBeat on Oct-08-2004 05:49:

HARDCORE IS UHHHH.....MAKES ME CRAZY

and that really fruity house with the really fruity vocals. ehhhh thats makes me vomit

I bought Dieselboy - System Upgrade a few years back and i maybe listened to it just once.

I think many genres of EDM sound much better in a club atmosphere. Unfortunately its the only atmoshpere that I can tolerate it in.

I only listen to drum n bass in my car, maybe becouse my car got a good sound system and becouse its a hybrid renegade non commercial music , andy c and Raiden rocks.
Electronic Dance music i cant get into is:
-Cheesy trance
-Rap
-Uber shit trance

HHC and all of its cousins.

Why do you all hate hard so much? You know, I bet a lot of the stuff that you listen to has some hard qualities but you just dont realize it...

Posted by Jarjar on Oct-08-2004 08:12:

Most techno, latin/tribal/whatever similar house, anything with annoying voices/vocals (the filterheadz - yimanya for instance). Probably hardstyle as well.

Posted by twisted on Oct-08-2004 08:39:

hardstyle

hardtrance

hardcore (noise, gabber, hhc, etc)

cheesy vocal trance (4 strings, etc)

euro dance

commercial bullshit rap

i listen to pretty much everything else though..

yeh i cant take those funky disco house shit

hardcore errr no good either,, hardstyle sometimes when put in conjunction with good songs can add to it and be ok, pure hardstyle may be a bit fatiguing though

i luv hard techno, but i recently listened to some very minimal techno, couldnt really get into it, how about u guys?
one example would be richie hawtin- live at maida vale

Posted by Tranc3 on Oct-08-2004 17:00:

Any of the so-called "cores"....hardcore, darkcore, speedcore, terrorcore, etc...

And the noise-based genres, I don't like those either.
