That must be one of the most disliked tunes in here, and it's certainly no classic.

I never really saw what the big deal was with For An Angel, given that PVD released so many better tunes before that one.

Zombie Nation and Satisfaction piss me off too but thanks to the chart success they're now deemed more as cheese than classics.

But the two that annoy me most from down the years are Jaydee - Plastic Dreams (fucking awful) and Roos - Instant Moments (ditto). Why anyone ever bought or danced to either of these is a mystery to me.

every single prog "classic" out there

snooooooore

exampe: James Holden - Nothing

Posted by DjSimonB on Oct-11-2004 23:00:

I'm going to add Yahel - Voyage, because I saw it on the iVibes 'classic of the week'. That track's ahead of its time - boring ASOT-style trance before the days of ASOT

Posted by Snooper on Oct-11-2004 23:21:

^^ Agreed, never understood what's so special about that one, probably the only boring track on Magik 6.

Posted by aloep on Oct-11-2004 23:27:

Robert Miles - Children

Although I like Tilt's 1998 remake of this, the original is a very simple production and was nothing original even in 1995.

I'll second that.

Push - Universal Nation - Not a big fan of the orignal at all. Nothing special. only the Dumonde and Oliver Lieb redeems this one

V-One - 7 Cities - Very repetitive. Snooore...

Posted by flavdave on Oct-12-2004 02:14:

Never was a big fan of As the Rush Comes.

Also, while they aren't classics yet, everyone seems to love these tracks but I don't like them:

Young Parisians and Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train
Interstate - I Found U

Give them real techno. Then they're gonna say it's trance!

Some of you people are insane. But I suppose most anyone could say that in this thread.

Anywho, Out Of The Blue. I just don't get it. It's standard uplifting, mediocre at best. I mean, for god's sake, Ferry (co)produced Carte Blanche around the same time. The riff always came off as trite to me. I've given it chances. Really, I have.

Everybody thinks Cobalt is insane. It's nothing new.

And Carte Blanche is good no matter what anybody says.
