I would like to ask how you are going to get Jon O' Bir and Robert Nickson because if it is through word of mouth I actually am the one who has started that word on TA for any people associated with clubs could book them. CLUBS!, not some bullshit knock off party. BTW Robert Nickson is not confirmed. Only Jon O'Bir has intest in spinning in NY. Robert has not been informed of this at all yet but he is a possibility. In either case I am going to inform them not to waste theyre time and that this event is not "THE REAL Sensation".

first of all.... its not called "Sensation". like i said b4, i decided to change the name for the same reasons u guys are saying. Silver Nrgy didnt know about our intent to change it, bc hes not associated with us, the throwers of this party.

second of all.... never once did i say we confirmed getting ne of the relatively big DJs. i said i talked to Victor Dinaire and im going to finalize things this coming week when hes available, but i didnt say we confirmed, thus i didnt put his name on the lineup. i never said i confirmed nething concerning Jon O'Bir or Nickson, and fyi, i didnt even hear about this on TA. i contacted O'Bir and Nickson both, to which i got the prices of Nickson, which are very reasonable and attainable if u ask me. i havent gotten a reply from O'Bir, and im sure hes more expensive than Nickson, so i think im going to drop the plan of booking him. go ahead and inform them to "waste their time", considering i didnt promise nething, nor did i ever say i "confirmed" anything

third of all..... even if i were to book Paul van Dyk for this event (WHICH ISNT CALLED SENSATION.... JEEZ... u wanna look back at my earlier posts for some clarification of the name issue).... even if i were to book PvD, i doubt ne of you guys would believe that we did, just because of all the bullshit and drama started over this event on this forum alone. this party has no cred now, and for what reason? Silver Nrgy has no affiliation with the throwing of the event, thus this post is outdated and missing a lot of information and details. i dont know why ppl give such a shit about this. if u think somethings sketchy, then go ahead and think that. all i know is that it is a white and black themed party NOT by the name of Sensation, and Jon O'Bir and Robert Nickson havent been confirmed, nor has Victor. and when Victor is confirmed, im sure ur just gunna go ask him personally if this is true, just because of the drama in the post, which has showed me out to be a liar (even tho i didnt its all BS)..... thanx

Well DJ Eco seems like you got something really great going on. I will try to make it up there around these dates once I get a new car

Not gettin mad at you babes just wondering WTF is going on with this wanna be bootleg event and how somehow the people I was trying to get booked in NY got tied to this phony party. Oh yea Jon I got 1 more person to add to the list of people that wanna spin in NY. For obvious reasons I wont post it here but Ill PM Ya later.

I'm not trying to be politically correct but aren't most DJs who fly in require the book(er) or booking agency to coordinate all of their travel arrangements, to and from the party, lodging etc? Isn't that a cost the party thrower also has to consider? I took alittle peep into this world while doing my party planning and that was what i discovered...I could be wrong, but logically isn't that what you would suppose to do...be it that you are a known, established, DJ. Especially coming from another country?

and its about time u got the facts straight,first off dont call me nigga? ur gonna try and act all "gangzta" and come on here and post about being a trance addict, u know whtvr...i wanna apologize for the way i was acting i was angry and frustrated with all the bullshyt. second...i am from Europe,France i been living there for 7 years so dont tell me u know the euro scene better then i do i sure aint a "Euro dreamer", i have family on the border of germany and switzerland. I know a whole lot about the rave scene and "Street Parade" in switzerland which approximately had a lot of people this year i hear it was even bigger then the love parade. But anyway thats not the point... All im sayin is i was tryin to promote an event that i thought u guys might've liked... it seems that it didnt turn out that way ...in fact i could care less if u guys dont go to the party if u feel so strongly about it then do urself a favor and dont show up! all im doin is promotin for an event which i've been tryin to promote not just on here but some other forums too so no im not self promoting anythin bcuz it all comes down to ur decisions in the end. im gonna clear this out.. the party isnt called Sensation anymore if u've been reading what Eco was telling u... its a shame that u guys have to come so harsh when the only thing were tryin to bring to u guys here.... is the music itself...no matter wat DJS! as long as they prove themselves to the crowd.... Like my boy DJ ECO over here u guys should definitely give him a chance, he definitely knows wat he's talkin about and he is a sick DJ !! from what i have heard so far... so ask him if u can download some of his trax and im sure he'll show u wat he's all about. For people who listen to trance all day,night.......... i thought u guys would b nicer, more welcoming of a crowd then those KTU kids?? so prove me wrong...

I dunno but I have come across some international DJ's that have very much interest in coming to NY to spin. I dont know much about booking, but if anyone has any booking connects lemme know.

Let me tell you something about NYC then ok, if our mod was visible and there are plenty of other people who have promoted parties here which aren't too accepted on these boards. How would you like if it your store front displayed advertisement for products not belonging to yours? It wouldn't be soo cool if your window was covered by snipers (these are the guys who paste those fliers on the side of scaffolding and run down stores) More over, advertised by a naMe_LiKe_ThIs. You'd think..who the fuck is this kid think he is? Not much of a society if you ask me. The party I promote (TFST.NYC) I've even asked the owner of this site (Swamper) if I could do so only for the fact that we harbor our local talent on these boards. We made a party for the local talents here. We ain't spam our party to bring people in. And certainly the promotion not being one of our first post. It's called society. You don't come into an environment and just start shouting like you know what's up. When our mod was visible in our section there would be an automatic lock on your thread. I don't know you, maybe you've thrown 5082094832 parties, but from the looks of it, you don't. Because if you did, you'd have to understand that behind this internet tag there is a person. And what would you trust more? Some name on the internet, or the guy that meets up and hangs out with the group of people? My point being (maybe its different in europe) is that there needs to be some sort of physical relation to this internet name to give anyone integrity.

I don't know you...I just know that you are new to this board and you are advertising a party. It's like that spam mail you get in your inbox. Who the fuck actually wants that? They only want stuff they are interested in...and how do you gain your audience's interest. Be visible before you advertise. Offer something real before they listen to you. All DJ's want to be heard..its a fact. But the steps to doing so ain't easy. And with the vehicle you choose, I don't think it's such a good idea to rebute with anger.

ahhhh guys, stop this right now. every1 has to realize the fact that Silver isnt throwing the party, and has nothing to do with the throwing of the party.

heres the whole story. 2 weeks ago, i posted about this event (with more up-to-date details, times, etc.). after about 3 minutes, there were like 3 replies with kind suggestions by Kid Nyce as well as Vlad, i think, to change the name of the party, for both potential legal reasons as well as credibility issues. after reading these 2 replies after about 3 minutes of the post being up, i realized that they were 100% correct and that something hadda be done concerning the name of the party. there4, i DELETED the thread right away (on the other 4 forums i posted it on as well). when i logged on to TA and saw a post of Sensation (about a week after i deleted mine bc of the decision to change the name), u culd imagine how frustrated i was, because, Silver, i appreciate ur promoting for this event, but this has been a severe punch to the face as credibility for this party is concerned. Silver, i know u had great intentions and i dont mean this to be a scold to u, so dont worry. i deleted my original thread about the party 2 weeks ago, and i was planning on REPOSTING again once everything was finalized 100% (DJs, venue, flyers, name change). and Kid Nyce and EVERY1 for that matter, Silver is not a thrower of this party, ive met him only twice at 2 clubs i was spinning at, but other than that, the only time we talk is just about music and stuff online. i, along with 3 others that dont belong to this site are throwing this event. i hope this post clarifies everything, because up til now, its been a huge kick in the balls to this party's credibility, as you can see.

My advice to you man is to get involved with the NYTA community and gain some respect before you expect anybody from this board to attend and event you're putting together. Start off by attending some events like TFST. You have been on these boards since May but ive never met you......and I don't think many other TA's have for that matter. Maybe post some of your mixes on here or something. It seems to me like your jumping in the deep end with lead shoes. Just my $.02

yea... i have to say that i agree with u guys, i shouldn't have came up on here like the "spam" u say i am... it wasnt my intention to come out like that and im sorry for it. THe truth is i should've came on here and introduced myself first instead of promoting for an event that u guys obviously rnt too aware of... o and by the way Kid nyce about ur nickname.... uh reminds me of Kid Capri... perhaps you and silver should have tried to be a part of the community but there was no reason to jump down your throat. no one jumps down nickac's throat when he posts about the Robots every wednesday and never, ever contributes to the forums. why? because we know who he is. so because we don't know you we should diss you? no fucking way! i am so SORRY that you had to experience this and let me tell you we are NOT ALL like that. i welcome you guys to the board and i hope you are not put off by all of this.

oh i agree with you there. the name is definitely a put-off. Dj Eco's posts are what redeemed the whole situation to me. but i do feel bad for judging a book by its cover, even if we have good reason to thanks to CP and all that.
