Hey, just by driving to your workplace showed she cares for you even if she brought you a cold burrito. Don't let her go. Get married, what hell...

Morning folk.

Just to let you all know (cos I don't keep up with the late night/early morning threads), she doesn't read these boards for whoever asked.

A chip and pea barm is one of the greatest foods known to man.

I can quite remember what mr cosgrove said but I agreed with it! Something about proper chippies!

For all those still confused it consists of a barm/bun/bap (clicky link and check sandwich rolls at the back) with a good portion of deep fried chips (thick fries) and mushy peas on top of the chips. All this sandwiched between the barm. Oh and salt and vinegar aplenty!

For all you yankee doodles who come to the UK and especially up north you need to try it!

Jason, just be yourself man... and buy them Armani jewellrey!

Oh and to make the day even better I got laid too!

Although I'm one of a tiny number who doesn't eat chips/fries I can tell you how they work

The cob is just a dry bread roll, and you can put sauce on the chips inside it, the 'mushy peas' are processed and squashed and stuff to give them their appearance and are as much a sauce as anything. I'm amazed some of the British traditions seem to foreign to people who 'speak the same language'

And if people think our slang is bad, they ought to hear some of the regional variations, it'd scare ya
