i dont see anything glamourous abour being a stripper, u are basically prostituing urself for money, while disgusting men hoot and haller at you like ur a cheap thrill, i think its rather degrading towards woman and alot of them do it b/c they lack an education, got a couple kids and need to make ends meats, its rather sad really.

but alot of them make good money and u wonder why they are still doing it 20 years later instead of getting a sense of pride for yourself and an education and doing better in life, i think alot of them just give up and feel they cant do better or do it to feed their drug habit. who knows, either way i dont ever plan to attend a strip joint in my life and support this kind of crap.

Funny... the ex-roomie who stripped that I referred to earlier in this thread actually ended up becoming an "escort" aka a prostitute.

The reason they continue doing it is because of the money. They make A LOT, and they become reliant on pulling in that much cash. When they get normal jobs, the job doesn't pay nearly as well, and they have to start adjusting their lifestyles. Most of the time they don't, and then don't have enough money and go back to stripping or "escorting".

Vicious cycle.
