I just feel bad for the women who are going to lose their right to choose whether or not they can have an abortion. Bye-bye Roe v. Wade.

So how hard is it to fin a job and get permission to work and live in another country?

(I'm not saying this just cuz of the election, I've been wanting to move to another country for a long while)


I don't think bush could mess up stuff much more, he's at elast more likely to get shit done now that he doesn't have to spend his time campaigning anymore. I voted Badnarik, but I'm not gonna get all upset cuz Bush won, we'll all have to wait and see what happens.


I don't think all of the problems with america are our president's fault, I'm thinking alot of it comes from the way we all live over here. If we didn't buy into so much bullshit things would be much nicer I think.


Kerry in all honestly had a stupid plan, what we really need is a system where we are offered more then just the lesser of two evils.

The whole world has forced the US to play policeman for the last 60 years, and then they whine and bitch when we elect a sherriff that isnt afraid to use his guns.

First of all, that has nothing to do with Canada, and we actually did help in that war. and actually had the world 3rd biggest navy after ww2 behing russia and the US, do to major lost from the british and germans and jap and all other nations lol. Second of all the State would have had a much harder time you think it germany wasent waging a war on all front. mainly speaking of Russia here. If germany had Taken on Russia the state would have had a real hard time winning the war in Europe.

Its called Stalingrad, that's where the war started to go bad for the Germans, If no for russia germany would of pushed back the Invasion.

Agreed, we were all helped out by the fact that Hitler was mentally insane and attacked Russia.

And it is possible that without him making that mistake, we would not have beaten him. But then again, the Russians could not have beaten Hitler without the invasion on the Western front either.

However the real point I'm trying to make was that you do not have to be a power monger country to get yourself into a war you cannot win yourself.

And lets not forget who the world needed to keep the Russians in check after WWII.

Today its easy to sit here and bash the US and say that the US is a power monger country. But if you all of the sudden find yourself invaded by a brutal dictator, the US is the first country that you are appealing to for help.

And it appears that Kerry has done the right thing and conceded the election.

Since Blair may not win re-election, Bush has a new lapdog, his name is Paul Martin and he is the Prime Minister of Canada. Anyway, Bush will run the economy into the dumps and by 2007, you will be ready to lynch his texan ass. What scares me is that Jeb Bush might run in 2008 and win!... I will say I enjoyed the Clinton Years much more than the Bush years because Clinton was too busy banging ugly interns to notice much, even tho the USA had a surplus and the economy was roaring. Michael Moore is great, how else could a pompous ego maniac, fat ass windbag make up lies and still make a studio 200 million dollars. Gosh I love America, it shows that they need to do more but with that being said, CNN is just an American Gov't Propaganda tool. Michael Moore is the ultimate hypocrite, his source for his movie was really teh guy who made up the CBS fraud. He lashes out against fat americans and does not look in the mirror and then goes on about being rich. I love it, I'm waiting till everyone deserts him but 4 more years of Bush, was probably the best thing to happen to Moore (even tho he will deny it) because who else drives his anger? . I think Moore sees another 50 million in the bank because of 4 more years of Dubya Bush.

The issue is Americans are not finding out information for themselves. Instead they are being spoon fed information from like-minded new sources, FOX News. It absolutely disgusts me when I debate the issues with people and all I hear is rheotric beacuse that's the depth of knowledge that have.

well i never said the US was a power monger country, and theirs no dought that they are the last remaining super power. However I don't think canada will need help fighting anyone off since we don't really go around interfering in other nation internal affair. The hole problem with the states is that fact that of course they are the world greatess economie and therefore affect most other nation. Problem it they us this power to warp(mostly middle easter countries) decisions and influence everything around there for reasources and money. This is were all the anger and wars come from. Canada doesn't have this problem. we simply don't have that much power internationally.


As for paul martin being US's next bitch. i think economicly your right. with regards to foreign affairs no way, Paul Martin doesn't have to votes for that in a minority Gov, The Bloc would never go for that, neither would the NDP nor most Liberals. Only the conservative party and they just don't have enought power again the other 3 parties. No way where going to Irak before the UN does. Even then who are we gonna send?

Michael Moore was making successful films before W, and he will continue long after.

And FYI he's been doing his entire tour of America the last month or so pro-bono, so there goes your 'get rich' theory. He made a movie, and it was successful. If you hate it that much, go start trashing Spielberg too. At least Moore's had some current day value to it.

you need our natural resources but are too stupid to agree to the free trade legistlations and find an appropriate method of win-win resource trading. instead you try to screw us with your tariffs and most likely would end up invading us in the future for our resources anyways, so dont act all high and mighty. plus, since your government seems content to develop economic hegemony over its allies and decides not to listen to the member states of NATO or the UN, what is to make us believe you'd answer our call for military assistance? squat.

also, although conflict with either seems fairly distant presently...it's my opinion and many others that you would not be able to take either russia OR china in an aerial or ground-based war. the only forseable victory for the states would be nuclear conflict, and everyone loses there.

so yes, GW would still be a twat.
