You've summed up most of what I think about this track. And yes, the back-bone of the track is from the original. The only reason I sat down to do this was because I wanted a single version of it, couldn't find one. Also, part of me thought the track had more potential for drama, which I exploited as best I could. Then it became a little more involved as I spent more and more time with it. As for the gaps in the loops, that's something that will (eventually) be fixed -- I'm working with some friends at Berklee on this to get it perfect

I'd give anything to actually work with Josh Gabriel and the other members of Andain. I've exchanged a few e-mails with him, but we all know how the music industry works. It was just easier this way.

josh and dave are actually down to earth and nice. as long as they have time, they would reply the pms on TA and emails : )

I was shocked too, but I guess I have an in since the first e-mail happened a while before this song came about. They're definately awesome guys though!
