Yes, time will tell. A thriving trance scene is not only possible, it's inevitable. The sceptics on this thread are only so because they are unaware of the depth that Oz is currently building in Trance producers. They cannot be blamed for that though. What evidence do they have to the contrary- apart from a handful of tracks that have been mentioned on this thread. Our dance culture is not 'inadequate', just a little 'younger' than that of europe's, but given our current rate of progress, be prepared to be stunned by the quality of music this country produces (and before I get flamed, I'm referring to other producers I know -not myself!!).

Just look at Finland - Just over 5 million people but they have a mad trance scene. It's because of where they are located. They get european cultural influences whereas Australia get's American shit (fkn R&B ). But with globalisation & the www, this is becoming less of an issue.

Exciting times ahead for Australia's Trance scene.

this is fuckin great news for australian producers, and there is a huge amount of talent around that i have heard, so trancetribe will have no dramas releasing quality tracks.

besides, i have only heard some stuff from vic/nsw. image the tracks in other states! cant wait to hear them all!

First releases will be early next year, along with the official launch etc etc.

Right now I can say that we are in talks with artists from around the globe, many of whom are super keen to have stuff on the label
