Hello LordTranceaLaut.
This is in response to your last posting. This desi vandit groups sounds interesting. I'm from India by descent, born and brought up, in Mumbai. I currently live in U.S. Would I be eligible. I'm a TRANCE DJ myself. I was inspired by PVD, during my residence in UK, and today I follow it. I use ABLETON LIVE and have produced some of my own mixes from scratch. I'm working on releasing my album soon.
Let me know.
Trance in Peace!

This yahoo group seems like a good idea. However, I think it would be a better idea if the group covered indians who like EDM in general..psy...prog...hardstyle..breaks. whatever. Limiting it to a PVD fan site is a bit concentrated and would probably not get half as much people if it were a 'desi-trance' group. The important thing is the people..and the music we talk about. Also, even though Vanditpandit is a verrrry witty name, quite a few seem to be really fixated on it.

nice idea of diff styles...
dave seaman ... heard him....
anyone into zabiela lately???
artists/group like
sound alliance
plump djs
atomic hooligan
lee coombs
dousk
descent
and what we can also do is share the music ... like exhchaning of CDs
posting thru mails ...
so that we can keep EDM alive...
share some good sets if u have ...
i dont think anyone should oppose that .... as everyone here is a thief ..... CHOR .... who steals music from the net.
so give it a thouht!
VanditPandit....wicked!
Sounds wicked...:d
Prog/tech/tribal house + breaks + trance(psy/prog/uplifting/hardstyle/commercial) should be the primary focus.
Most of the artists you mentioned roughly fall into the above mentioned genres.
I was also thinking along the lines of setting up a DC hub...desi-trance hub.. but thats later.
For now, the idea sounds good...we should work on it.
Everyone else, please post your ideas as well.
I think the posting of CD's is impractical as we are from different parts of the world. Sharing music online seems ideal.
