My little fluffas has a similar (or the same? i dunno for sure) problem. hes really hates other kitties when they come on our property so he likes to get into fights (which isnt good for him since he has no claws and therefore much harder for him to win these battles w/o getting himself hurt, thank god he usually doesnt get hurt!)... i guess he got into a fight w/ a stray and got bit or something, but he was feeling and looking really sick about a year or so ago.

turns out he got a permanent immune system deficiency. there are they vitamin drops (i think thats whut they are?) we have to give him every single night now, bc otherwise his system will get down and he'll get sick again bc of that.

all this stuff is is 1/2 an eye dropper. and he now has grown to like it, so all we gotta do is put it on a saucer and he right away licks it all up (it was hard trying to force the drops into his mouth and down his throat, that was a MASSIVE chore to do and it wasnt fun! )

no problems w/ him since he started taking this med (whutever it is)

thank god. i love my little fluffas so much. id dunno whut id do if he ever got really really sick

I got a similar med obligation with my white turkish angora cat "cloud" who's a diabetic now. He's on permanent insulin 2x per day for the rest of his life. If I miss more than 2 shots he'll die on me. My heart goes out to any cat that's got to be on permanent med.

Oh...and little fluffas is really cute too. Loving that relaxed pic posted.

He's about 10 years old I think.

And thanks! We're really hoping he pulls through. Everyone is stepping up to make sure he gets his medication.

i used to let them run around my room at night time but they kept waking me up to play with them.... they would sit on my face and push my nose when i was sleeping.... annnoying as hell.... they make enough noise as it is jumping around their house all night lol.... but tatgirl if your ever up in ottawa your more than welcome to come check out my resident dj's lol

thank you!! i think snoopy was only 7 or 8 weeks old in that picture and about 1/2 to 1 pound. the cats got used to her right away because i think they all (i have 3 cats) thought snoopy was just another cat. she's 4 years old now, and they just play, running around together... she sometimes even annoy the cats.

aww thanks snoopy (and bear) are yorkshire terriers. when they're babies they have black fur, but once they're older their fur turns colour. bear should be grey soon! (he's only 13 months old). we (usually) keep their fur a lot shorter than most yorkies.
