All my hates trance (Y)

Posted by zshev on Dec-15-2004 12:50:

Some of my mates are into it, but no where near as much as I am.. they still come to the clubs tho', and listen to it in their cars and shit.

Nevertheless, my 10yr old brother is a hardcore trancehead

Posted by Petrogad on Dec-15-2004 16:40:

maybe if i were in somewhere other then the midwest where people are enduring and loving of COUNTRY music (shoot me) people would have a good taste for nice ol edm... but currently most of my friends are annoyed by it and "no lyrics" obviously a generalazation....

cheers

What is your real underground trance?

Producers like SHOKK,Robert Nickson,Alphazone,Nu NRG..the ones you would unlikely find in pop-charts next to Blazing Squad or Beyonce hehe

Posted by vswede on Dec-15-2004 18:24:

uhm my 3 closest friends do! we have sousage-trance-fest parties heheh it rocks!

Posted by halexander837 on Dec-15-2004 20:19:

I have a few.

Phil: listens to rap, but went to Germany once and trance dominated his brain.

Lauren: House Addict

Kim: The first person I ever met who played trance in a Wal-Mart.

Natasha: Lived in Poland, not sure what genre she likes or favorite DJ. In my economics class. Once I was celebrating listening to Pale X and she liked how I was dancing. I let her listen and we both connected on the same genre.

Everyone else: just likes to see me dance.

Not really, but most of them can stand a little of it.

My best mate for example likes it, though he likes house more, and rap/hiphop.

But he likes good rap/hiphop, not 50 cent shit, so that's ok

that way for me too, except here everyone labels it techno

one of my friends is into trance, all the others think its crap

Posted by |cEbLu3 on Dec-16-2004 03:42:

some of them do , but i don't know to what degree. I'll have an update by monday. My family is throwing its annual Xmas dinner. Afterwards, I'm throwing a party for abt 40 of my friends, and i'll be spinning non-stop trance.

No they hate it... hense why i go to clubs alone around here....

perfect example.. my roomate says that whenever she goes into my car and listens to the music i play int here she feels like running and excaping something and gets really nearvous.... shes a more mellow type of person...

everyone i hang out wiht loves to just chill... relax .... listen to rock.. reggy and stuff... and the thing is i'll go to their things bc u know i dont want my gf's to go places alone.... but if i asked my friends to come with me for one night out of the year to seee a dj even if its for like an hour... hell no.. they be running out the door and getting run over by a truck before they would set foot in a club with me that playes trance...

oh well ... thats why i like the peeps that i meet at clubs... they like the music..

Today I just showed her a list of DJ's before class. She's heard of Marco V and Yoji Biomehanika but that's it. So I'm guessin she's into hard trance and a lot of hardstyle to go along with it.

No, just one good friend of mine who is also a trance addict. We share great tracks we found and so on..., that's cool... but most of the people i know like r&b and alternative rock..., I respect their choice and they respect mine...
I like it that way...

It's weird because i have noticed that nearly all the people i have met don't like trance, they all like the rap songs. Have you had that experience?

some of my friends yes. some of my friends are like your friends.

I'm the same way with all the people I know. It's best not to make fun of the music other people listen to.

I have some who listen to trance too. But somtimes I have to force em to listen to it ... They all just are into rap, rock and all that shit.

yea for real. "That techno rave stuff" is what they call it. It's annoying. Anyway, I have one friend who likes trance and trance only. I personally like all except country and metal All my other friends haven't been exposed enough to trance to like it or not. But that's about to change. I call to a trance revolution!

Posted by Subtle on Dec-17-2004 23:15:

simple answer..

NO!!!

thats why I have to stick to forums to talk about music

Posted by websley on Dec-22-2004 21:07:

I have a friend who loves hardtrance, my girlfriend sorta: "likes it" and the rest of them, they're all urban/pop-freakz. (That doesn't include another friend who likes futurepop, though)

Although I have some friends who like it, I myself experience Trance in a much different way then them (I'm really convinced of that!) That's the reason why they don't feel the need to:

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Dec-22-2004 21:32:

A lot of people like trance, but only the cheesy top-40 epic-trance and classic anthems, like Silence and Children. I can get away with playing some pretty good stuff if I have control of the stereo, but anything a bit deeper and lacking a massive hook gets moaned at.

Posted by Keldana on Dec-22-2004 21:34:

only my wife, but I think thats enough, isnt it ???

to be honest .... through Trance I found enough new friends .... we all love this kind of music ...
