I will never forget FF7. My fall semester of senior in HS was 1 hr after school dedicated to that game. My 2nd cd was scratched so I had to borrow it from another kid and after 80 hrs I beat it!

The red scorp and green underwater thing were beaten sometime later but that was a game and a half!

heheh yeah i agree....but u know what....when i play a game i play it alllll the way...and i fuckin had everything in the game...all master materias.....all materias....limit breaks...beat all the ultimate weapons, all characters at level 99, got the hotel for like 1 million gil, etc. etc.......but the ONE thing i couldnt get was fuckin aeris' final limit break before she died.....fuckin damn thing is in a cave or somethign that i coudlnt get to at the time!!

cant wait for this to come out its killing me that its taking so long. FFVII was the best game ever hands down, took me well over 100 hours to do everything tho i never did beat ruby, only emerald. getting a gold chocobo was my proudest moment

as for a fan sub when it comes out i would be surprised if it took a week to be honest. i remember that battle royale 2 took like two days for a fan sub to come out.

still haven't seen BR2....i downloaded a version when sprnova was up, but it turned out to be a french dub

BR2 isn't as good at BR1.
I feel BR was made to highlight the life of every single kind of person in society if they were faced with the goals of death. Jocks, brainiacs, outcasts, etc. Just the reason i LOVED watching Saw. it gives you the ultimate question: What would you do?

wow wtf....i had to do it the hard way...specially for Ruby, the one in the sand...i had to play it like 3 times untill he finally kept Cloud...then i fuckin creamed him! as for emarald weapon...u need the underwater materia for sure, i highly doubt u beat it under 20 mins! my stratagy was knight of round, mime, limit break, cure, etc... damn just talkin about it makes me want to go home from work and have another 24 hour playing streak....i havnt played long hours like that in a video game since i beet FF7....what a wonderful game it was man!!!

What I find funny is in FFX or whatever, before you fight the final boss, there's a message that says "Prepare for a very difficult battle with Sin." or some shit. I was like, okay. So when I was finally ready I go into the battle with my 3 best characters, and let's just say that with all the shits I had accesorised that I could have just stood there passing up turns forever and not have died any time soon. But Nemesis, now that was somewhat of a challenge.

yea...FFX was a cinch. tho i must say it was quite a pleasure to create Nemesis and then kill the ******. As for FFX-2, i played it until nearly the end, whereupon i was struck with ennui and decided to cease playing the game altogether..go figure...

Tell you the truth, after playing 8, 9, and 10, I have no desire to play any new FF game ever. I mean seriously. Super Mario RPG is now more difficult than any FF since 8.

i have the same problem...altho i liked 8 alot too....i stoped on the 3rd cd of 9...it just didnt do it for me...10 i had the first day it came out....i have played it a total of like 10 hours......after 7 and 8 i just cant seem to get into them anymore!! well i dont even play games anymore....just clubbing...and women!

i dunno...8 was decent though could've certainly contained a better plot..i prefer 7, 6, 5, 4 to all the new ones..i hope 12 can appease me somehow - what with one of the developers for Vagrant Story working on it, we may have yet a surprise in store for us.

anyone in FF 7 go to that funland palace and play the game where you are on a roller coaster shooting stuff. That was the one thing in FF 7 I could not beat. I think you needed to get 3000 points to win?

I did beat emeraled weapon by myself but not ruby.

I think I spent 20 hrs out of the 80 hrs I beat the game fighting characters to raise my MP levels!

Plus fighting that gold pot with certain materia's set gave the best MP and gold like it x eveything by 4 when you beat it if I could recall

such a nostalgic thread
