Correct - it was released after the February event. Its a bit of a Michael Caine thing... 'not many people know this' in that everyone thinks it was from December in 1998. Thats bullshit.

Also u can see his performance from 1999 Innercity (December) is completely different set... from the broadcast we have from there.

Magik 6, 7 and Innercity CDs are live recorded, 100% sure of that.

anyone got cue for tiesto's live @ club venue (athens, greece)?

Posted by Konijn on Jan-20-2005 19:53:

the innercity booklet says: "His live-set has been recorded and you will find it back on this CD." -- incidentally, this set was from February 20th, 1999. The other innercity set, from December 11, 1999, was not officially released by id&t and exists only as broadcast recording.

magik 6 and 7 were also recorded live, at the black hole wildlife event June 23, 2000 and the mayan theater April 18, 2001, respectively, but they were chopped up and edited to fit on a commercial cd and don't represent the entire multi-hour sets he spun.

He played 2,5 hours at that Innercity that was recorded, but a cd is only 80 minutes..

then its maybe only a part of the set, but it IS live recorded without editing, im sure of that.
Look in the tracklist also, the tracklist from the february innercity 99 gig is THE SAME as the tracklist from the cd!

He did not play 2.5 hours on February 2, 1999 at Innercity....the tracklist is his live set...FACT~!

The video was edited...NOT the CD itself...

If you watch that video and then go and watch the video for Theme from Norefjell and then the video on Sparkles you will see that they use the SAME footage for each video...which will show you that the videos were edited....

The live set was not edited or altered in anyway...Tiesto wanted his first big event to available to all his fans...and that is why they released it on CD....this was a breakthrough for Tiesto and no chance that it was edited...Tiesto would not allow it...

Also how many artists that are not known play mainstage at Innercity and play 2.5 hours? Doesnt happen...

Tiesto played EXACTLEY what was on the CD...no more and no less....

But in the vid there is a tune which isn't included on the cd? (the vid was given free together with the cd)

Sorry just couldn't ignore posting this

Jep, after Endless Wave or the track after Endless Wave he played a track that isn't on the cd (pretty hard track..)

And sparkless isn;t on the video..

I hate to be a stickler for the small print... but wasn't tiesto in the backroom at this version of Innercity? The yellow decks & set were part of the second room, not the main 1 i thought.

Having heard some of the video i agree with T14 & KI - the CD is the set from his February Innercity - not an edited version afterwards. The ID in the video is probably something from after 1h14m after all.. even if he was purposefully recording the set, his set time is therefore gonna be like 90 mins... not 74

The ID sounds like a tune of the Magik series anyway. Only heard 20 secs. sample but it sounded like it.

Binary Finary - 2000 (DJ JamX & DuMonde's Millennium Mix) instead of just 'Dumonde's Millennium Mix' ?
