Well it�s kind of a way for people to express themselves, but you�re right, it is a form of attention-whoring. I am actually going to be having mine removed through laser surgery. The first one I ever got was a Japanese symbol (fuku) for good luck and good fortune. I got it back in 2000 right after I moved back to US from Japan, so obviously that one has meaning since I lived in the country. But then right after I got it, the whole Chinese/Japanese symbol tattoos got really popular, and now it seems like every single person has them...especially on the tailbone (where mine is), so that kinda bothers me. Everyone is always asking the same dumb question, �How do you REALLY know that�s what it means?�

I actually brought in a necklace that my dad bought me in Japan that had the symbol as a charm, and the tattoo artist drew it from the necklace.

The other one is on my ankle and it�s dumb. It�s a half blue moon w/ a little yellow star next to it. My sister and I got that together so they�re matching, but I really did that impulsively and don�t like it.

I guess I think tattoos on girls are kinda trashy looking, and I really don�t mean to offend you TA girls who have them. To be perfectly honest, I think there are definitely girls out there who get really cool ones, and can pull it off without looking trashy. Like jenny pie�s �Soul� tattoo. I think that one is awesome by the way I just personally do not like them on me. My boyfriend is covered in them...they�re sexy on guys if they can pull it off.

and, no I�m not aquarius...I'm a scorpio. But my nana is an aquarius and so was a close girlfriend of mine, so I've been around a few. They are usually the life of the party with a million friends. But that doesn�t mean all aquarius people are like that.

I used to work w/ this chick who was really into astrology and she sort of got me into it. Everyone has a rising sign that they resemble as well as their own sign. My rising sign is Gemini, which is like the exact opposite of scorpio. I definitely have traits of both signs, so I kind of have a split personality!

hehehe yeah...i think it's funny when people have those chinese / japanese characters and then they always say like it means love or something...then i look at it...and then i say...no it doesn't hahaha...the guy just told you that stupid hahaha...

astrology is entertaining but i still know its bull shit. The descriptions cover such a wide range that anyone could fit any sign. Just look at mine:

There was a Denver tattoo artist that was sued recently after a customer found out that her tattoo said "whore" instead of what she thought she had gotten.

I'd do shit like that all the time if I was a tattoo artist. And I want to meet a Japanese kid with "Love" tattooed in english on himself.

There are alot of people that have ink and you wouldnt even know it unless you ask. Mine isnt too big but you cant even tell I have it. I dont walk around showing it off and it rarely sees daylight. I didnt get it to attract attention. Im sure frost would need to walk around in a thong to show his off Alot get them for their own enjoyment.
There is alot that get them to "look cool" though.

Well maybe it has been pure coincidence, but everyone that I have dated/met has totally fit their astrological description. My boyfriend is a Capricorn, and they are known for being workaholics and very practical and motivate, devoted people. That�s not a very vague description that can apply to everyone if you ask me. Anyway, he d is exactly like that. He works from 8-8 pm every day, and he is constantly focused on work and making money and he�s very outgoing and confident (also a trait of Capricorn). I know those traits can be applied to other signs too, but that doesn�t mean it�s a crock of shit. There are a lot of signs that are similar.

My dad is a libra as well as 2 of my ex�s. Libra men are known for being very non confrontational, always wanting to keep the peace�they are usually artistic and like to cook and entertain guests. That is TOTALLY like my dad and my 2 ex�s. So I sort of buy it.

I could go on about everyone I know and how they are exactly like their sign, but I won�t bore everyone.

If the moon can have effect on things like the tide, then I don�t see why the moon and stars wouldn�t have effect on us at our birth.

i forget i even have tattoos most of the time because they're all on spots that are usually covered up (except for my ankles which are exposed during the summer months). people act all surprised when i say that i have 4 tattoos.

i'm very happy with all of my tattoos. 2 of them don't really mean anything, but all of them i drew myself, except for one on my ankle - the Armind angel - and i doubt anyone has that same tattoo!! the only one i wish to change or have removed is a design that incorporates my ex-boyfriend's initials (it's not obvious, the design is created by the actual letters), only because i get sick of explaining to people what it means and then have them go "ohhhh" o_O

anyway, here's a photo of one of them. i have to remember to take new pics of the other 3.

i want to believe astrology is BS, and i think a lot of it is (at least the way it is presented to us in this world), but my entire life, my best friends have ALWAYS been scorpio (i'm scorpio as well). i also exhibit many of the typical scorpio traits.
