Allure - Eastern Magik? coz ITS DEFINITALY tiesto!!all the elements found in Adagio For strings (Tiesto Remix) are found in here also:

the kick is the same
even the whole structure of the track is extremely similar to Adagio For strings (Tiesto Remix

its not allure - eastern magik, since tiesto played that traci @ tic 30-10-2004 .. and this one wasnt in that set, so no allure .... read XDR posts, then im 99% sure its of armin's new productions from his forthcoming album ... armin told something to XDR personally!!

BUT

It does use the Virus software
And it does sounds an awful lot like Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine.

Tijs hasn't been anywhere near that record or has he played a unknown remix of it recently. So i don't think it can possibly be from him directly
PLUS he'd have played it out. Which he hasn't. I've been to around 50% of his gigs since November and this was definitely not played



The dudedudedudeude-undertones sounds like Armin
The melody sounds like Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine
and the beats are provided by Virus software.

Sounds like someone's been sampling and playing around with a number of tunes and given a CD to armin.

Fire & Ice Project is about to end... with their last single coming out this next month. Maybe Bonzai commissioned 1x remix of Souvenir De Chine for a special vinyl to go out in style?

Armin played this one yesterday.. I went nuts!

Some of the chord progression played by the strings in the 1st break also sounds like Frank t.r.a.x- Nebuchan, I know it ain't it, but just an observation, reminded me of it.

Souvenir De Chine

I am now pretty sure that this is a remake of Souvenir De Chine.

As some of you may know Souvenir De Chine (Souvenir of China) was originally written and composed by Jean-Michel Jarr� and later remixed by Fire & Ice, Shane 54 and Stargaze.
Now, Armin has stated multiple times in interviews that he is a huge fan of Jarr�'s work, so it would really come as no surprise if he would make a remix of one of his compositions

I also think Dutch pianist and composer Jan Vayne might have been involved in this remake. In the booklet of Classical Trancelations (a project by Vayne & Van Buuren) Armin says that Jan Vayne has worked with him on his new album.

Even though the melody might have been altered a bit (as some people already said) this doesn't mean it can't be a remake of Souvenir de Chine. Remixing a track does not automatically mean that you keep the melody exactly the same

So until we get more info from Armin himself I am gonna call this tune:

I agree that it is harder than his usual productions, but also considering some of the harder tunes he spins in his sets, it would not be strange to try something different for a change. I still think this production has some typical Armin sounds in it though

BTW: I also really like that tingle-ing sound in this tune that you hear before the break drops in, it is very recognisable and makes you aware of what's coming

Just wait some time and the artist will be known.
