Now that is one seriously buggered vacation.

Have you tried flying from a close U.S. city? (Getting back to Montreal can probably be solved with one of the Canadian discount airlines...)

Honestly, I think the European festivals go overboard and saturate the parties with DJs. Maybe they like incredibly short sets down there, but I prefer a good 3-4 hours at the VERY least. WMC is about as much variety as I can handle.
