this'll be my last party of '2005 probably... i've been doing a lot of thinkin.... and this NYTA will be retired for quite some time... after spring semester i'll be taking 2 summer semesters, etc etc... studying for MCATs... i just have to focus on getting into medical school for now guys... sorry to dissapoint don't know when i'll be back to the TA scene... but i still cant kick the habit of listening to the GDJBs, ASOTs, the holden, ozgur can, and kosmas epsilon sets that can keep motivated so i'm gonna take a break from the forums and parties; i need to do some soul searching and do all those things that i want to do but never get around to. James Holden is officially my favorite dj at the moment and there is nobody i'd rather go see and my school semester starts next week so i just figured this is the perfect ending to my NYTA story for now markus schulz spins his newest tunes on GJDB so i'm not feeling too bad about missin feb. 18; the raves are fun but i get way too plastered and organic chemistry and 5 biology classes will hit my hard this semester so no more nights out for me for a while.....

-see you at holden.

-serge.
NYTA 4 life ^_^

I might be coming also, just to see. Progressive house doesn't excite me but if so many people say he is good, he'd better be good.
see you there after 12.00 am.

If you see a moderately tall guy wearing a white sweat jacket with lime green trimming, thats me... so dont be shy.

Posted by Sveta on Jan-22-2005 01:32:

no guys, i'm not going. too cold for me.

Posted by colibri on Jan-22-2005 01:34:

it would have to be twice as cold for me to reconsider...

Posted by Sveta on Jan-22-2005 01:36:

i'm home, in my favorite socks and sweater, talking online with a cutie, that's it. movie and some reading later... no james for me tonight, don't look for me there.

Wow you folks are such wusses out here. We dealt with 5 degrees/-11 wind chill last week and I didn't hear anyone bitch. I've been here three hours and as soon as I got on the bus I heard some lady going "It is COLD outside." 25 degrees, people! LOL. More room on the dancefloor for me to do my twirls!

Posted by colibri on Jan-22-2005 01:41:

indeed...

ha ha ha music is more interesting
than a quiet evening...

you can be a protagonist instead of
being a reader/expectator of a novel
or movie

holden's view on music sounds
appealing to me and tonight i will
confirm either way my sense about
his work

i have a sense i might be pleasantly
surprised...

c!ao

;)

Posted by Sveta on Jan-22-2005 01:44:

plus i don't listen to House, somebody said james is like sasha, so i have seen sasha three times and he bored me to death, i don't want to go and be in the same situation.

Posted by colibri on Jan-22-2005 01:49:

this is prog not just house per se...
in addition he combines eclectic
music incorporating trance too not
boring asasha's experiments ready
for some minimal techno and deep
trance all combined intone anyway
i am going to shower now and get
ready for a terrific nightonight will
have a tea-shirt with an aztecalendar

salu2

;)

Honestly, if Sasha bored you, you'd kill yourself at Holden. I hope he plays semi-danceable shit tonight...

Wow you are full of crap. I am a prog-hater, but Holden brings atmosphere and melody where others just drone. Pffttttttt.
