oh I've been at several events over the last couple of years you just probably didn't know it. I don't frequent this board as much as I used to because my music style has changed a bit- I'm into more progressive and breaks now. I've also been djing at private events and I'm a resident at Frequency in Buckhead on thursdays (and The Future in Underground on occasion).

Resident at Frequency and playing prog and breaks? I like to check it out! Most of the Atlanta TAs have really be digging prog and house lately. Looking at your list of DJs, I think we both agree on the same style of prog. What's your DJ name?

yep, as scott said, this forum is by no means trance only, in fact, some of us (me included.... lol) listen to a LOT more prog and house... might even convince me for some progressive breaks if im in the mood

Fluid. I've spun at Frequency though. The main room is really really nice. The dance floor is kinda small because of the steps. When I was spinning there it was mainly a hip hop / top 40s place. I couldn't stand it and left.

Yeah we just started doing a breaks night there on thursdays. I'm DJ 911. I like Frequency and all but the sound could use a bit of improvement if you ask me. They're using a Xone 464 but the crossfader is broken off and the tables suck! I'm gonna bring my Xone 62 and my decks this week. You guys should come check it out and say hi.

As for this site, it just seems to me that not many members want to talk about much other than trance. It's just been a combination of that and the sheer size of the site. I was one of the first 250 members and now there are like 40,000 or something. It just makes it hard when there are soooo many meaningless posts and amateur opinions.

Just a quick note...

If you'd like me to add you to the list you must indicate where you are from if not otherwise indicated; a few people have their origins listed as "in a sander k-hole..." and such. I probably know about a handful of the TAs who have posted on this thread, and they are from Toronto.

Also, I'm only on TA a couple of times a day. I'd greatly appreciate your patience.
