I, too, own the soundtrack. I bought it off ebay. It's a knockoff but the quality is superb.

Awesome, dude!

I made my own onto MiniDisc. I called it ChronoTrigger: Prism + Cross. I added my favorite tracks onto there.

The track Progressive Pete was referring to I simply labeled, "Another World."

All time favorite ChronoTrigger Track: Zeal. Oh YEAH. For 16 Bit sound, the tune rocked it.

The entire ending score for Cross...that was just unparalled, IMO.

A friend sent it to me. I'll probably grab it off Amazon sooner or later though.

Haha...

Yeah, that tune is a nice one, man. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't have put it on my MD.

Just for old times sake, I popped it into my MD deck. I'm listening to the 'Sadness' track, aka the track you hear when you defeat Miguel in the Dead Sea at Leene's Bell, just before the Dead Sea gets absorbed by the Frozen Flame. (<- I MIGHT have gotten this wrong, it's been a long time.)

For me... I adored listening to "Memories of Green", ( <-- ESPECIALLY THIS ONE) Middle Ages: World Map, Ocean Palace, Apocalypse, Morning Sunlight, Chrono Trigger and Zeal.

Give them all a listen here if you don't remember the tunes.

If you want to hear some VERY nifty remixes... you MUST (And I put a ton of emphasis on this word) visit this site:

http://www.ocremix.org/alpha.php?alpha=C

Just scroll down to CT and enjoy.

Sweet.

The theme from CC's Dead Sea Ruins was a nice work, but man one tune that brings back memories...Fanfare. Lucca's old theme became the fanfare theme for CC...How I wish things hadn't turn out so bad for the original cast, but at least they are (somewhat) in this complex, yet rich sequel.

Don't hate, dude. Final Fantasy is my favorite RPG series of all, followed by CT/CC then LUNAR. I'm sure there are threads for those floating around here somewhere.

to be honest

i actually tried both CT/CC
played CT for a few hrs and got bored
played CC and got confused with their complex eclipse system, only played 10hrs, by the time i bought the game (b/c of it's rave reviews) the graphics were dated

i actually tried to get back into FF6 ( a game i almost finished) but the graphics were too crappy (by today's standards) that it was a bit unbearable

i think we've become spoiled by these new next gen super powered graphic consoles
