RJ hope you get sphincteritis for those pics you posted

ate lots of shawarma in Syria this last month!!!

here how they make them, take a pita bread, pick up as much liquid grease as possible from the chicken "roll", then put it on some heat source for the grease to burn and toast the pita.

cut some chicken, put it in the pita, add some salad with mayo and garlic sauce and then toast the whole thing in a "panini style" oven...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

all this for one canadian buck.

The food aside though, Syria has some amazing historic sites that I would like to see at some point in my life...

hahaha
btw, the only good thing in syria is the food which is cheap. You have to be informed as where to eat because there's lots of dirty spots

dinner for four, 4 stars restaurant, lots of mezze (entrees), main dishes, alcohol, deserts,... for 10$ per person... i always laughed at the bill

historic sites are mind blowing..... only if... they took care of them...

if you see some of the places and how they preserve them, you would cry... its a pity.
