-Lots of good movies you list but there was a few I didn't like. I love mafia movies (godfather, goodfellas, etc) but Casino sucked.
-Love Quentin Tarantino films but def didn't like Jackie Brown. Just didn't go anywhere.
-Natural Born Killers is too herky jerky, I felt car sick watching that one. I know that was the point but wasn't feeling it.
-Training Day is vastly overrated to me. No way did Denzel deserve to win for that movie. He deserved to win in other films though.

You mentioned Full Metal Jacket, Die Hard, Goodfellas, Blade Runner and they would be somewhere in the 11-20 range for me.

Just outside for me is also "The Natural" and "Bull Durham." I love baseball and those are the best.

wow u didnt like casino, nbk, jackie brown and training day ? whatever rocks ya boat tho.. but have you seen any of them more than once ? sometimes[especially david lynch's films] you dont fully aprreciate the art of it the first time.
all four films had superb acting performances by all the actor/actresses involved.. i'll just leave it at that, no need to 'defend' them since were 2 dif. ppl.

I know man but we agree on a lot more than we disagree. So it's coolio. They weren't terrible movies, just nothing memorable to me. I've seen NBK like 3 times because I had an ex that loved that movie. I don't like Juliette Lewis too much.

Hey, we're bogarting this thread and battling back and forth but I agree with you 100%. I loved that movie and thought about it when I was thinking about Juliette Lewis. His mom....

"I'll show you trick or two"

The acting for the young 'Frank Dux' was easily the worst acting ever. Still an really good movie. Ha ha

There is something about the old school movies that I still love watching....

Delta Force
American Ninja

and the dialog in Commando...gotta love awnold
