some forgotten ones:

* Gothika
* DON'T DRINK YOUR PISS AND JUICE OR WHATEVER WHILE SMOKING YOUR SOMETHING IN THE HOOD??? <--- that was the title, DON'T FUCKING ASK
* this movie on Sci-Fi that John made me watch where a worm thing laid eggs inside people's stomachs and then the baby worm came out their butt and ate everyone
* now that I think of it, almost any movie I ever saw on Sci-Fi channel
* any movie where Snoop Dogg cameos, except Old Skool

Uhhh... let's move on.

I agree, you should see Kill Bill. I loved em and own them on DVD. I haven't seen House of Flying Daggars yet. I guess it's not that good huh? Too bad, I was looking forward to that one. Loved Hero and love kung-fu movies in general. Sometimes the cheesier the better. Like when a guy does a flip but you accidentally see a trampoline on the bottom of the screen. Classic!

This reminds me of "Perfect Storm." Some of the worst lines ever. My favorite was when Marky Mark says "I've got a girl back home I can't stand to be more than two feet from. Then again, I'm a fisherman and I love to fish."

one thing I DID like about the final fight scene, though, was the exaggeration that they fought throughout whole seasons, so long that it started snowing... I find it a good symbol... Otherwise the scene was a bit humourous, yes...

for me, that made it even MORE cheesier... it was a good effort but couldnt really reach out...IMO of course.

haha, I see where you're coming from. At first when I saw the snow I chuckled and was like, this is ridiculous. But then I thought about it and ended up thinking that it was a pretty good way to show something that can't be shown in visuals. Namely, the emotions of each of the two men and the passion each one felt that caused him to want to fight for as long as it took to kill the other. The reasons they fought were also different, but their passion was the same.

yeah, that was the intention of the director. i guess girls can relate more to that than guys... cuz this movie is like half romance & half martial arts.. one doesnt overpower the other.. i thought it carried itself pretty well until the last scene.. thats when the chic flik-o-meter exploded in my system...
