listen to ya's,
bunch of geeky internet nerds who can only pick up 15 year old chicks cos you have a wristband for alcohol....
pffft,
the only way to pick up chicks is with juice you fools!

Catch you guys on the flip side!
Fuck its going to be a hot one today.
im one sad panda atm....
last night decided to go out drinking....
which led to climbing up and over a hotel roof to get to their swimming pool. as soon as we got in, we got sprung n had to bolt back over the roof.
and i cained my foot jumping down onto concrete without any shoes :/
got home at 1:30 in the morning, got up at 4:30 to go to work, which sucked cos i was so not with it.
so im feeling really tired n sore n shit. and two tribes started 2.5 hours ago.
see how i feel over the next hour. im drinking, so things are looking up.
haha hope you have fun guys. sadly im not there.
its always interesting getting busted breaking into someones pool. had that happen to us at a local school which had a lap pool. damn security. didnt catch us lol.
AND MAY GOD BLESS DIGWEED AND HIS CREATION IN FABRIC 20 FOR GIVING ME THE STRENGTH TO PARTY ON. BE @ TT in 10 mins. Bitches!
the RA site seems to be down at the moment and im dyin to hear how TT went??? anybody alive after yesterday?? keen to hear some reports!!
TCB you're lucky i seem to be the only one who went to Two Tribes and didnt take drugs so I am awake enough to post a review.
anyway the people I saw:
Jan Johnston
She sung to pre-recorded mix, so it was only her up on stage. She drew a pretty decent crowd, and I found her very entertaining. It was good to see the woman behind so many trance classics. The songs she sang to:
Freefall - Skydive
Tilt - Flesh (Tiesto Mix)
Cor Fijneman feat. Jan Johnston - Venus (dj tiesto remix)
BT - Remember
I think there was one or two more songs but I can't remember. She was good though.
SIGNUM
Signum played after Mr S so it was already pretty hard in that arena. So Signum carried on with the hard stuff and it been one of the best trance sets i've heard in quite a while, nice and hard, and probably cos it so friggin loud made it sound a bit harder as well. I really didn't know that many songs apart from their own productions. Anyway songs I knew:
Tiesto - Urban Train
Signum - The Timelord
PG2 Vs Katana - Transcentral (original mix)
Signum - First Strike (Signums 2004 Signal Mix)
Signum - Second Wave (Signums 2004 Signal Mix) with Delerium - Silence vocals.
Signum - Coming On Strong
Anyway I loved their set, they exceeded my expectations. Just a pity it was like 40 degrees in the arena they were playing. I got to shake hands with them after the set as well, and I later saw them purchasing Yiros' from one of the vans.
HYPER
Saw only a little bit of Hyper, the outdoor arena he was playing was pretty much empty. Sounded pretty good but wasn't much atmosphere.
LUKE CHABLE
Saw only a litle bit of him as well. Sounded very nice but was once again no people there which was disappointing. Stupid Adelaide.
RICHIE HAWTIN
Checked out Hawtin for about 30 mins with the Gumble-meister. HE was good, I really enjoyed what I heard, was playing some banging Techno but for some reason I really enjoyed it.
The crowd was pretty massive as well and getting into it a lot.
PRODIGY
Prodigy were
! Such great entertainers!! Played all their best stuff and the areana was absolutely packed, it was more like a mosh pit. They played:
Breathe
Firestarter
Smack My Bitch Up
Outer Space
Dont know the rest, not really an obsessed prodigy fan. But anyway seeing these guys were awesome, just so good to watch.
M.I.K.E.
He played after the Prodigy so that was pretty hard for him, and the areana totally cleared out, there were like 50 people left, I felt heaps bad for him.
Anyway He started opff a bit progressive but then by the time he left he was hard and dark, almost techno-ish (gumbles gonna tell me off for saying that). Anyway tracks I remember:
Nathan Fake - Outhouse
Probspot - Divine (i think so, but it was definately a probspot tune)
Solar Stone vs Scott Bond - Red Line Highway
Filterheadz - Yimanya
Perry O'Neil - Waveforce
New Order - Blue Monday (M.I.K.E.'s Mix??)
Tim Deluxe vs Cohen - Just Kick
Thats all I remember off the top of my head, I was disappointed he didn't play a bit more Electro... and the atmosphere wasn't very good, its hard to have the same sort of energy as the Prodigy.
OVERALLL a very good day for me, had a great time. Was a good turn out, lots of candy ravers, but still a good turn out. It was well organised and set up. Can't wait for TT06!!!
damn, so should i see the prodigy over signum???? i cant decide, both r on at the same time
I struggled yesterday with the heat yesterday later on, fuckin' felt like shit towards the end of the night.
Stampers review seems pretty thorough, all I have to add is:
GRAND MASTER FLASH
fuckin tops set, that guy sure knows how to entertain....
hahaha I'm uber 733+ and can ID some of his set:
dj cool - let me clear my throat
deelite - groove is in the heart
naughty by nature - hip hop hooray
naughty by nature - down with OPP
michael jackson - dont blame it on the boogey
and many quality others, was pretty tanked at the time, so memorys a bit hazy!
haha and after 10 minutes of him saying "hmm should I play one more? i think you guys might know this track" he dropped the message.
All in all a really good day, pity my stamina was lacking and missed out on the prodigy
heard they were wicked. Glad there was a massive turn out, reckon it will be back bigger than ever next year!
I agree with pretty much everything Stamper said.
I only got there after 5, so saw about 20 mins of Signum, who rocked.
Saw about 10 minutes of Ed Real, then off to Armand van Helden. I don't like much house, but he was pretty good, seemed to be a lot of rock mash-ups/remixes. Tries to ring my friend who wasn't there about 15 times during My My My, she loves him and gave me a very amusing phone call afterwards
.
Saw about 30 mins of Hawtin too, wasn't bad but there was some old techno kandy kid with a whole bunch of steins on her belt who was jumping around near me and pissing everyone off so I left.
Poor Luke Chable, djing to about 5 people at one point, built up to maybe 30-40 (including Jan Johnston) but it was pretty enjoyable set, I couldn't believe there weren't more people there!
Back to Godskitchen for Hyper for his warmup set, was awesome, loved it.
Prodigy were nuts
Ran off to Rank 1 when they finished for one hour, were pretty good, played Such Is Life, was hanging out for Symsonic though.....
Back to MIKE at 11, loved him too, was great. Majorly pissed they stopped him half an hour early but he came down and had a chat to people after - he said he was going back to the hotel to do some producing. I think he won over a few people as some of the people he talked to had no idea about him but they loved him afterwards (they didn't know how to spell his name, thought it was Mark!, asked him if he had any aliases etc)
Top night
Rocked up sometime, just after my last post in this thread..
Went and had a look around, Signum was too hard and not my thing - GMF was pretty cheesey. So then settled down at Schumacher. Who was awesome, heaps of fun really enjoyed his style.
Hyper played after, but found it a bit boring - so left to see the fabric boys, Mal and Lachy play to the fabric crew and a whole lot of people chilling. That was a pretty fun set, we all go up and jumped around a bit for it
oh and had a sing a long
After that, Hawtin. SET OF THE NIGHT WITHOUT A DOUBT. Relentless, started off fairly relaxed but built into a fucking monster. Just the way I like my techno sets
So so pounding by the end of it. And good to see Jules liking some decent music for once!!!
Checked out Chable briefly, but he had nothing on Hawtin, and no ppl watching him - so went straight back.
After Hawtin finished, Hyper came on for his Proigy Warmup set, and again, wasnt in the mood. Went and checked out Seaman but he was playing to hardly anyone. I left that and went and chilled for the rest of the night..... (I heard later that Seaman walked off cos noone was there?)
Saw Prodigy play Smack My Bitch up, but hey - I used to be a big Prodigy fan, back in the 90's. I think we are all over it now? The new album is nothing great in this age, since nearly every other producer has caught up and surpassed Howletts skills?
As i was chilling outside, caught a great closing set by HMC - that rocked me and finished my night off well
Also caught MIKE for a bit - again not my thing. Playing his enegry style Trance I guess - stuff he used to release on Bonzai (Yellow?) Label. Really flat and boring.

Last night....was a fairly good night..
got there about 2:30.... saw a lil of junior sanchez, didnt really get into it so then walked around for a bit.. checked out the extreme room which nearly made me deaf, was sooo loud i couldnt make out half of the songs being played in there..
later on went and saw GMF, which i really enjoyed...they put on a good show so 10/10 for them....
watched Armand for most of his set... wasnt the cheesy house i htought he'd play so i was happy, just wish hed smile a little... sorta looked bored to be up there..
after him got a bite to eat and had a little break and came back in to see Mr Hawtin play... was looking forard to this and it was a pretty decent set seeing i never really heard real techno before...
while listening to him checked out the other stand, shit turn out for luke chable who was playing some nice stuff but no one was there to watch him... doubt we will get internationals coming hear if we get turn outs liek that for that type of quality...
Dj hyper was pretty good, loved Moguai - get it on, and what can i say about the prodigy... what a show, breathe had to be the best when they played it... was insane..
Was so pumped for M.I.K.E and coudlnt believe everyone walked out..good thing was i was right on the fencing facing him... cus i was in a good mood i was goin nuts wehn he dropped some bomb tracks such as wave force and got the occassianl wink from him which was wild lol...
was hsitted off they cut him off early but he came and talked to us.. he said he wanted to play a more trnacey set but had to play a more techish set which he wasnt to happy with... also was saying how hes producing in his hotel
and how he misses his 5 week old son..
tried to get an autograph but the security were being cocks.. but was more than happy with shaking the greta mans hand...
all in all a great night...just wish ppl would give htese other iternaitonals a go... eg seamen n chable...
Adelaide still doesnt know how to support true talent
man wish i was there for prodigy and thanks for the reviews. looks like everyone had a great time as all i have heard is positive reviews. just needed more poeople there id say.
Nick, I was the guy in the brown shirt standing behind you!
I tried to ask him if there was ever gonna be anymore PUSH, but I don't think he heard me
Wish I had one of my CDs for him to sign, was it you with the ghetto cardboard to get signed
Bleh... Not feelin too good...
And can't think really either.. got woken up early this morning... I'm a bit faroukked.
TT was awesome, def will go again.
Stamper pretty much summed up everything, was with him for most of the night/arvo... whatever...
My only gripe was that the extreme room (signum etc.) was WAAAY too loud. I had earplugs in and it still was deafening... And the speakers sounded like they were driven like they were being rooted for the billionth time by way too big a black fella.
To be honest, I have been lagging behind in the whole trance thing, don't know any of the new tracks, still going to events, but just way too busy with uni to take a piss in a rubber chicken.
All being said, I had a sweet time, especially liked Signum (set of the night) and Mr S played a few sweet choonz. I was surprised as to how good Jan sounded live, ppl usually sound shite live but she was pretty good, even had a bit of a sing along too
The energy during Prodigy's set was awesome, but tbh, they don't do it for me. after their set I went to take a leak, and when i returned, the crowd had gone from prolly 3000 to about 70 for MIKE, I did feel a bit disappointed, but all good. Shoulda had MIKE on before prodigy, now that woulda been awesome
Hawtin's set was surprisingly good, I don't usually like tech too much. Actually, i don't mind it, fenetik before jan was entertaining, they were good at EF (shhh!!) too, I'd like to see them play a 'bit before peaktime' set. was gonna go see mal play but ended up getting caught up and forgot (sorry dude, the intent was there though, lol!
) van HElden was boring, but had to stay, alex promised to take photos for some chick, lol, he couldnt hold the camera steady and they were all blurry
hyper before prodigy almost put me to sleep, tbh i was waiting for track two to start the whole set (lol, nah, i'm just uneducated and i couldnt tell the difference
) rank 1 was sweet but by then it was way to frikkin loud, my face was vibrating so much my face was itching!
lol... it was just all a bit too painful on the ears, and the grandmas are taking church bells 101 in my head. mike was alright, had a boogy with stamper and gumbum for a bit, fellas not much else happened after you guys left, all good, i woulda liked him to play more uplifting, alex said his set at trance energy a few weeks ago was all anthems. bummer, his choonz were all a little too flat for me, couldnt pick many of them, its all good though, i had mr trainspotter with me
iwonder why he played techy instead of trancey... oh well. toward the end of his set though more ppl came prolly to make the numbers up to maybe 250.
Summary: 7.5/10 (woulda had an extra point if Extreme wasnt so loud and another extra if ppl stayed for mike), had a good time, definitely will go again
Ran into heaps of people i knew, the ta fellas, few ra ppl, few ppl from uni, some chick that apparrently works with my gf and knows me, and even some dude i havent met in a few years!
I'm gonna see if I can upload a few piccies in a minute, and make a new sig. maybe...

seeya fellas and cheers for a good time.
lol, got distracted... here's a few teaser photos from Adel TT, lexi took these piccies (about 30k each)
enjoy!
Jan Johnston trying her little heart out to grow fairy wings
Signum in the Extreme room
Prodigy in the Godskitchen room
Towards the end of Prodigy's set

Rank 1 in the Extreme room again (while the ears are being traumatised
)

Hey trance nutter... i wasnt the guy with the ghetto cardboard lol... i was the young kid in the white sleeveless shirt... i was right against the railing the whole time... was sweet to get ome thumbs up fromhim and winks cus no one was really getting into it that much...
