-- well it seems like crobar....

Someone 28 years old (me) typically is not more mature than an 18 year old? An 18 year old guy isn't more concernced about proving themselves, making an appearance, and therefore more apt to start shit?
I can speak from personal experience and how different of a person I was at 18 vs. the way I am now.
Most importantly, when it's 18+ at Crobar is TOO DAMN FREAKING PACKED!!
Combine that with kids trying to start shit because they are not as confident in being themselves, then we have something that ruins my vibe.
I also know how different it is when I'm partying with Sander K at 21+ and when it's a freaking madhouse with Sasha at 18+.
The one thing I know about being an 18 year old man is that they all think they know everything. It's just like my 15 year old niece. She likes to lecture me on life. I have a nice chuckle about it.

So, I have to be more inclined to believe our thought process on this. Yes, I'm blaming 18 year old for making it more packed because allowing that crowd makes it over packed. 100% of the times that 18 year old are not there, it's not too packed. 100% of the times 18 year old are there, it's too packed. Hmmm.... |

The few events at 18+ haven't been as coolio. So I don't understand the argument about comparing to other clubs, countries, or past times. It's not a linear comparison. We're talking Crobar. |

You guys make me sad...
I'm 19, I feel unwanted.
Can I come to Sasha and Zabi? Pretty please? I'll be quiet, I promise.....
Im on Lee's side. I dont see whats the big deal. I always go clubbn with a big group of friends and they are usually 18-20. Everything is always chill and fine. Just because you're 21+ your automatically are more mature is bs . Big deal it gets packed. Focus more on the music than the crowd, find your spot and dance/relax. What i dont like about the crowds in Nyc is the damn Fobs and the drunk guys that wanna start shit, and they are the ones that are over 21+. Those are the only ones that give me problems only cause they usually form a group in the middle of the dance floor in a circle and start doing weird shit, like ring around the rosey.
"how old are you again? 19? when kids like you actually show up, crobar will suddenly turn to shit...coincidence?? absolutely not..."
what exactly is kids like you?
anyway im excited i can see a few djs ive been wanting to see for a while.

i personally feel that crobar is the best club going in nyc
it packs a few thousand week in and week out no matter who the dj is
they kept their 21 and over crowd cause the crowd that went there was a good drinking crowd
iam not gonna hate on them makeing their events 18 and up
its a business i understand, i just hope it doesnt turn into another spirit and avalon kinda crowd, i hope the 18 year old crowd arent jerkoff's who think its cool that they are in the biggest club in nyc and seeing the best dj's in the world and feel its ok to use drugs stupidly, and yes people 21 and over do drugs as well iam just sayin i really hope no stupid teen overdoses at crobar like what happend at twilo, factory, exit and all the other clubs that have failed due to drugs
and speaking of spirit, the word is that jp either lost his residency or is gonna be spinning there once a month, so who knows whats gonna be going on there
I'll definitely be at Carl Cox March 17 since I want to check out for myself how badly crowded crobar is on an 18+ night. (I just remember the ridiculous long line to get into crobar for the last Sasha gig)

well, ur one of the few.... i recall my brother and cousins all going to Limelight and Tunnel and Palladium wen they were like 15/16, and not for teen nights, but for regular nights, shit was so much more lax back then, and yet every1 remembers those days as the best days of edm in the city, so maybe its not an age thing, but a huge change in the way clubs are nowadays, i guess?... i wuldnt know, i never been to ne of those old clubs back in the day.
