Hmm... getting 30kb/s upload (damn @home, can't get any faster than that).

I have managed to get ahold of the program that is able to join MP3 files together, so now instead of having those sets in parts, there is only one big file for each set.

Being uploaded to tw1tch's server right now:

Yep, Orkidea's whole set is being uploaded as one huge file (those 3 parts merged into a single file)... and if the speed stays the same, it should be completed in the next 2 hours or so.

hey guys,

as i mentioned before, we at sonic state are giving the sets to swamper to upload, for everyone to get.

i spoke with orkidea and he has given permission to put up the set, but he will be REALLY disappointed in everyone that has tried to put up a bootleg that is of bad quality. i am sending the sets tonight, but just wanted those people that have posted to know that i am pretty disappointed that they could not wait and don't care about upsetting a really nice guy like tapsa (orkidea). maybe you should all ask his opinion when he comes in jan...

just kinda looks bad as i assured him this would not happen as i have all the respect in the world for the TA's and did not expect this at all.

we'll have to see what happens.

Bro, I don't think anyone who was involved into recording/distributing of these sets had any bad intentions while doing it... As Avenjah stated earlier, this was recorded mainly for those who were at the party, to give them a chance to relive those moments and remind them of a great party they attended.

Now it is a great recording considering that the MiniDisc has been used, but I wouldn't think that anyone could use this for some purposes other than listening to it himself, from time to time, just to re-experience that night, since the sets are still full of background voices, screams, noisez, etc, and the bass is off too much on some parts, so it doesn't take much brains to give up on the idea of playing this back on some radio station or some party or whatever...

If you guys from SonicState mentioned that you were gonna publish the Orkidea's set (professionally recorded), I guess people wouldn't even care about this MiniDisc recording that much...
But if you post a quality recording of that set, that might attract people who weren't at the party at all, and just people interested in listening/having another set by Orkidea. On the other hand, if I wasn't at this party, I don't think I would bother downloading & listening to this MD recording that much, since it doesn't sound that great...

Hehehe, this reminds me of that Armin's remix of Rapture... when it first came out it was only a radio rip of not that good quality, with the announcers and MCs talking over... and some people got that version and were blown away. Then, when the good quality vinyl rip came out, everyone forgot about the radio rip...

I hope some people will still remember that MD, Avenjah... anyway, I'm just gonna enjoy these MD sets until SonicState releases their recordings

Ok guys, so after all this mix up with the bad recording and the good recording can swamper please post them up.
These Dj's are sick (amazing). I declare them both. They performed like champs! There music just freaks people out including me. I would be very upset if I cant hear them on my computer while I design some Graphics. Its inspiration.
And Swamper, you know that all the people in this forum are sick with this dj's including me. And I know you understand how much pain this is to us not being able to hear these sets over and over again.

I love Tiesto to death also. I hope you can do something about this and also for Deacon to be understanding. (I know the Dj's are).

And one more thing. I am really upset, at all these radio stations in Toronto with the music they play. Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock and all that staff. I wish we can have one radio station and not over the net, on the damn radio, that plays Trance ALL DAY!!! From Dj's around the world and Canada. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the music that they play at CLUBS in Toronto SUCKS! I want to hear TRANCEEEEEE! But I dont. I have been to System Sound Bar, Inside, Turbo, Space, Life but they all disappoint. Its my biggest cry ever.

Cmon.... HOw the Hell would Orkidea be upset about so many people DYING to get hands on his live set... Even if it is a crappy bootleg recorded on minidisk!

I didnt see the same for Tiesto's Bootleg or anyother bootleg we've had ( eg. PVD )

Orkidea Rocked everyone off their asses and people just cant get enough of it and want more....

This is an update, the professional recording of the set was screwed and we didn't get the whole thing. SO GO AHEAD, POST THE MINI DISC RECORDINGS. We'll still post the good recording, but I kinda want to hear the screaming and the noises from the party. It makes the experience much more real. Takes you back in a big way!

If someone could send us the sets on cd, we can master them and get all the levels right on, so the bass will be kickass and the music crisp the whole way through.

Whoa, this is a relief ...right after i posted i noticed spaceman posted, and thought i was in shit or something lol. Phewf ...ummm....anyone that has it just send it, again, computer's messed. Dj_Kismuth already did a wicked job mastering the sets, i don't know if they can get much better than they are, but if they can, let's have it!!! I don't know much about the editing process, but you can't really "lower" the volume when the bass is sounding distorted. At least it's a lot harder than amplifying. Ah well, next time (hesistant to do it at a State pahty again) there'll be even less distortion cause it can be recorded even lower originally. Wouldn't it be sweet if they'd somehow let us sneak some cables into the master out ??? *hint-hint* hehe ...jk... Anyways ....laters

thanks man, its such a piss off wanting and not being able to get! People have to understand that most of us in here are sick with Trance and the gods that create it, and they cannot do things like that to us (like not create those sets).
