Awesome track... heard this the first time on ASOT 190 and i instantly fell i love with it

The melody is just so beautiful, love that!
kinda reminds me a bit of clubbed to death lol

can't wait for this one to be released!!

Posted by Nik Novo on Apr-18-2005 14:29:

I'm currently listening to ASOT 192 where Armin said, that Love Theme Dusk will not be released until september

Posted by Gladius on Apr-18-2005 16:08:

loved it the first couple of days. now i'm kinda tired of it, nothing special... =\

Posted by djAlexg on Apr-18-2005 16:47:

semptember?WTF..till seprember everybody will be tired of it and it'll be sounding boring..y they tend to release nice tracks very late. The same happened with As The Rush comes..mp3s released so many months before actuall release and everyone till then was sick of it

Posted by Stories on Apr-19-2005 03:12:

I guess that's why the digital age is a bit of a double edged sword. Armin's been hammering this one for a while (and for good reason!). I was really happy when I played out here in Boston GREAT track Mike!

Posted by carmatic on Apr-19-2005 07:44:

yes, but what was the ATRC release like, was it a leak like this one as well?

just to make it clear, the real version didnt leak, only a reconstruction from a set rip and a very very old beta mix, so it will be obvious if people are playing it illegally.

yes i think you are right about this, most people feel the same way, i think september is way too long to wait but Armada know what they are doing so I trust them to do whats best.

im still wondering, what's with the wonky-sounding name? at first glance the name looks like a bootleg or something, as if there was a track called 'mike foyle pres luana - dusk' and another track called 'signalrunners - love theme' or something

The name is like "Love Theme: Dusk". The original artist who did the piano for us also did another piece called "Love Theme: Tide". We just stuck with this name because we thought it was a very suibtable title.

yeah thats what im hoping wont happen to everyone else, but its inevitable i think, september is a hella long way away and it seems to me that the sooner they get it out the better. otherwise people will get bored of it. but like i said its out of my hands and i trust them to do what they think is best.

ok just to be sure... what is the length of the real version, as compared to the length of the illegal version?maybe when people say that they will get bored of it , do they mean they will get bored of the illegal very-old-beta-mix version, which is completely different by how you put it...
i will buy the vynl when it comes out (post-it notes would have probably faded white by september) just to check out the remixes and the real version...
if the copy that is the so-called beta mix version already sounds so good, i wonder if you have improved on it for the final version...

if you have a full version its the fake one. + yes of course its improved on the final version.

Posted by carmatic on Apr-19-2005 21:43:

heh strange how you seemed to come on just as i was about to listen to the song again... or is it just how often ive been listening to it lately, hmm....

::edit:: oh, no worries then about people getting 'tired' of the song, because in a few months time it will be like a 'mike foyle's september remake' of this song anyway...

and you have my word, i will legitemately pay for a copy of the vynl, somehow... like maybe through Juno or something if they stock it

My favourite new tune of the month March! I've heard it first in ASOT186 and it got me immediately... great piano melodie and nice 'walking' bassline. Quality tune.

Posted by Cloud02 on Apr-25-2005 17:05:

anyone know the piano strings or knows where to get them?

Posted by starlabs on Apr-26-2005 18:44:

Sept release? That's crazy. I'll still buy this track because it's amazing. But it's going to be majorly played out (White Room, anyone?)

But a previous poster is correct - once it's out there'll be a remix that Armin will play (a la Synergy - Hello Strings)

What's up with these labels? They think we still live in the pre-mp3 days???

Posted by Blue. on Apr-28-2005 02:21:

Wow that piano is definatly motion picture worthy.

I said yesterday that I've lost faith in trance, namely uplifting but the broken record mix of this tracks is keeping my hope alive.

Posted by Blue. on Apr-28-2005 03:37:

I'm sorry but bump, this track is really giving me faith in the future of the genre.

Posted by Cloud on Apr-28-2005 08:44:

not really impressed

Posted by carmatic on Apr-28-2005 13:11:

in wondering, what do people hear when they say theyre either impressed or not impressed... i know that ive heard the beta mix, and that the real version isnt supposed to sound like that... and then there are the set rips and reconstructions, the gladiator mix setrip being the worst of them all....

Posted by ClubGoddess on Apr-28-2005 16:12:

to me this is a very good track, its different. I like the piano

I would imagine most people have been hearing the version that Armin plays off ASOT... that's certainly where I heard Mike's Broken mix.

I've heard the Gladiator mix - not too bad. But the Broken mix is better IMO.

When I say I'm impressed I mean I was listening to a 9 minute vinyl/cdr rip of the Broken Record mix in perfect quality

thats the old beta mix with old bass, kick, pads, percs and no eq. im guessing you must have downloaded it off a sharing program. there is a sample of the real version on my site

Posted by Hanki on Apr-29-2005 11:39:

The Airbase Remix presented yesterday sounds also pretty cool!
