I'll give him charisma. He is one of the most charismatic djs on the decks that I've seen, always smiling and working the crowd. However, he is a sloppy dj. Most of his fans will admit that. It just depends on what is important to you. I'd rather hear good tracks played mediocrely than to hear bad tracks, but I would really rather have good tracks mixed fluidly. I don't mind if he has to correct a few times, it's the style he mixes that bothers me. Slamming bass upon bass way too agressively and cacaphonously. But, I believe he has passion for the music and I believe he loves what he does, and that's the most important thing.

like spin wont be a sardine can during the wmc, run by the same people, great insight james!! but honestly if you really think spin is going to be any different than space, you will be sadly mistaken, learn to deal with the crowds, its the sobering reality for the wmc.

Thurs night I'll be at Rumi.. Gabriel & Dresden. a real set, not a few minutes by the pool It's their new record label launch party, so should be an especially great night.
