It's a position I've advocated for quite some time now. I actually think a course in religious studies and various beliefs would be incredibly beneficial for junior high/high school kids. In today's world, it almost seems like it's becoming a necessity in order to understand and attempt to respect a person or culture's beliefs that are different from our own.

Sure as hell might have helped us in Iraq a little bit.
