Nice Fx m8.
Your bass(line) doesn't have any bass like many others have pointed out allready. Work a bit more on the percussions and sort out your bass.
hey
good effects u got there, but there a great lack of bass, u need to fix that.. percs are alright.. strings are fine.. but the bass makes it lose its drive..
definately a quality sounding track... most of the things i have to say has already been said...
but there are several things that i felt i needed to mention specifically though:
- kick and bass: your kick and bass don't interfere which is good.. but I find that your kick takes up a lot more low frequencies than it should, which causes the bassline to be pushed upwards, and makes it sound a bit weak compared to the kick... I would try to let the bassline share a bit more of the bass frequencies that the kick seems to be hogging up
- pads and synths are very dreamy and floaty
- percussion is good.. but still has room for improvement... would be good to hear a bit of some conga type percussion... these usually add a lot to the whole percussive atmosphere
Holy crap. The melody is really, really good. Just have to love it. You could tweak the fast-wooden-like beats, they don't sound too awesome. There is no intro (did I miss it or something?) but this is just a sample track, right? On the scale out of 10 I give it a 9/10.
thanks guys for the comments, suggestions
yo if you get both those tracks on vinyl let me know love to have copies to use
