Guinness is my favourite winter beer!! I have to say Corona with a lime, takes it in summer! |
Guinness FTW. Nothing beats a properly drawn pint while your sitting on a bar stool with your name on it. Norm!!!

If I grab a Heineken it's because I want that skunky beer taste.

Don't count yourself out yet. The enzyme you refer to makes some of us red within minutes of consuming alcohol, and not the ability to metabolize it. South Korea is the highest consuming nation of Scotch on a per capita basis. We're not known as the Irish of the Far East for being stubborn.
You don't want to be able to drink 10+ beers anyway unless you want a gut like Homer Simpson. Then again you probably don't want the ability to finish a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black on any given night and wake up in a ditch - or worse. Cheers.
* Edit - I wanted to confirm Koreans were the highest per capita Scotch consuming nation, but it's not - the Greeks take that honour. Apparently, South Korea is the highest spirits and total alcohol consuming nation on a per capita basis - take that Russians. If you want to check out the rankings for your ancestral homeland here's the link - http://www.morssglobalfinance.com/drinking-patterns-global-and-local/
Fortunately, or unfortunately we Canadians are nowhere to be found under any category - beer, wine, spirits, or total alcohol. But, I'm sure everyone in this thread does the country proud. Cheers.
