BLank and Jones are pretty grim I think, only good song is cream. I found a song by them 'The Blue Sky', and I nearly laughed on hearing it

LOL b&j are legends! That seriously cracked me up.
Which EM has 'Around You' played?

We are pretty much debating the undebatable here guys. It all comes down to production style and where your tastes lie. Josh & Dave have their certain production style and that trademark G & D sound...as well as Armin and B&J. After listening to EDM for over 10 yrs now I personally have come to really dig the Gabriel & Dresden sound but thats just my opinion. However I cant just sit idly by while someone calls the producers that I think do brilliant work cheesy. Even when I may not particularly like the vocals on a G&D track or remix, underneath you can still appreciate the thought and effort they put into their productions...but I cant say the same for recent B&J tracks. Like Dave said, there are those who "get it", and those who dont. I defintely "get it".

It's about time! I thought they were sitting on their hands taking in all the fame and funds.

well i don't want to wade into a debate over the merits of B&J or G&D... i think they're both decent duos with decent tracklists but personally, the EDM world is huge, and there's lots to listen to out there... (no need to argue over personal opinions..... but i'll shetep now...)

speaking of Jes Brieden, doesn't she sing in that Deepsky track "Talk Like A Stranger" too?

+1

When ATRC came out everyone was 'OMG best track ever' and than it became commercial and everyone goes 'OMG commercial poppy crap'. I think 'Around you' is a great track, and you know what? ATRC is also a great track! And G&D are great producers and remixers! I like it!

Appreciate the music that is being released. If you don't like it, so be it.

As for the new Motorcycle track, I'll check it out. I'm sure I'll get sick of it just like ATRC.

A Forest is a nice prog track.
I think that its too repeatetive.
As for ATRC I think it rocks.
The new song is cool, really cool.

i heard a really early version from dave and josh at a really small "afterparty" (well it was me, my mate and g&d only:P) and it wasnt even halfway done, i liked what i heard though

I love how most of the TA forummers get so fed up in their experience in EDM they think they are God...

Dave, thanks for bein' a part of TA and respondin' to topics every now and then. You guys have been doin' great, and deserve some respect

I second that. I think Im going to be in Detroit on the 30th when you guys are playing there. Should be a great show just like the essential mix at Nikki Beach in Miami. That was an awesome set, too bad you guys couldnt really bump the system though. Around you is amazing and so are all of your tracks. keep up the great work.
