I liked both... i remember my fave was the western-cowboy themed playmobile set! the little men would float in water b/c of their head/hair piece... LOL!

going to the chinese store and buying hockey cards for 25 cents then going back to my place to trade whatever i got with my friend. ohhh and eating the stale gum that came with it.

i also miss being able to buy ciggarettes at age 4

the fact that ALL the cartoons on tv were actually good
10 cent packs of Rain-Blow gum thats taste only lasted about 5 mins

Game Gear
running around the neighbourhood causing trouble all summer
oh and that back in the day local beaches were relatively safe to swim in

ThunderCats, Street Fighter Two Turbo, hackysac, GiJoe, I miss having a real active imagination. I miss writing short stories back when I was 10-12. I miss playing tag and having water fights in the summer.

OMG...I just remembered what I really miss the most

Carnivale round my grandma's place when I was like 9yrs old

Basically 1 day outta the year they hold a water Carnivale....so it's no holds barred on getting water ballons tossed at you while you walk around, buckets of water falling from the roofs of houses (kids loved climbing up to surprise those in suits)...and water hoses being turned on ya while your running past someone's garden.
You don't know what fun is until you've experienced this...girls in wet t-shirts and wet see through skirts. Guys in wet t-shirts and wet short.

Oh man...those were great times

-Dr. Mario for hours and hours....
-Slap bracelets
-Salt n Peppa (Shoop: the only rap song every white girl knows all the words to)
-Living on the beach
-Swimming the first warm day in March, and telling my parents I wasn't cold so we didn't have to get out (even tho my lips were Blue!)
-New Kids on the Block (Just kidding!) lol
-Rainbow brite, Strawberry Shortcake, Cabage Patch Kids, etc....
-the big trampoline in my yard
-grunge rock (nirvana!!) and hair bands (Bon jovi, Poison, Def Lepard, etc.....)

HIghschool years:
-Bon fires
-stealing the parents liquor and filling it with water afterwords
-organized sports
-sitting on the back of the bus for sports games to sit next to the guys
-the first time you smoked weed (felt like someone was pushing on the back of my eyes and I was afraid they were gonna fall out)LOL
-the first time I heard trance (ahhhh Love at first beat)
